16. "a nuclear war would be the first time time that the living would envy the dead"
paraphrasing dr. helen caldicott of the physicians for nuclear responsibility (think that is the correct name of the organization)

3. This is another indication
(to me) that Trump is not serious about becoming president.
Although he may well be more of a goner than he otherwise appears (and thus thinks he's ready to step into the Oval Office), my sense is that, really, he doesn't need the responsibility and the aggravation of being "president." He'll either bow out at the last minute (if elected), or the RNC will amend its rules to remove him from office beforehand. Then the job will likely fall to a cretin like Ryan. |

8. He would love the...
...title. No way he wants to work as hard as he would have to in order to actually do the job. Even if he did have the proper skill set, which he so obviously does not.

4. Dear God - this man is not
only selfish, narcissistic and every other negative possible, he is also completely bonkers.
There literally would be no place safe on the planet - perhaps not even in the universe. I don't believe in apocalyptic religious crap, but is it possible that he could be the Anti-Christ that fundie zealots have been praying for? Putting him in the WH would certainly accomplish some sort of world's end. Perhaps that is why so many fundie nutcases flock to him. He represents The Rapture for them. |

I wonder what is taught at our service academies about indiscriminate bombing (nuclear or otherwise) on civilians? Don't we have treaties against this sort of thing?

24. Traditionally the military has taught soldiers to hate the enemy
which is what complicated the Iraq mission and Afghanistan mission where it's not clear who the good guys are when everyone looks bad.
Unfortunately our service academies teach that indiscriminate mass murder in Japan ended WW2 and historians support that narrative. |
