so people over there will see what's going on. I haven't looked at US media but I sincerely doubt it will be reported here, can't disturb the cash flow of the owners and rulers.

Nope, nary a mention on CNN, NBC, CBS. ABC's page is choked with entertainment, their news site seems to have gone poof.

I guess we have to hope the UK won't bury it.
