How Donald Trump Partied During the Vietnam War ~

Published on Jul 20, 2015

Over the weekend, Donald Trump disparaged Senator John McCain’s military service record, saying he prefers soldiers who weren’t captured. Reporters have now looked into Trump’s activities during the Vietnam war. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

who did what and the relevance of John McCain.
Trump was probably doing Coke and having orgies in the 70s and 80s, which is a much bigger issue, to me, than a war that ended 50 years ago

What he was doing during the Vietnam war.

Like I said, I'm tired of hearing about baby boomers and the Vietnam war

Ones character determines if a person is suitable to be President. It is pretty much the most important factor.

I mean, if who was doing what during that war mattered, surely a POW should have gotten your vote.

It's meaningless. Trumps business practices, his clownish persona and his policy views are a lot more relevant than his not wanting to go to a war 50 years ago

(President Obama) was of age to serve during Vietnam, so the question would have been irrelevant.

Second--maybe if so many people hadn't been "so tired" of hearing about Vietnam, they wouldn't have been so supportive of our disastrous intervention in Iraq.

Sorry and sad for how much you suffer from history fatigue, but those who refuse to learn from history etc. etc.

Unlike the 'wars' of today, Vietnam was brought home to Americans in the nightly news! My childhood memories are of troops and children being killed and injured seemingly right before my eyes. People will talk about Vietnam for as long as necessary. Someday maybe we will get over our addiction to war. Unfortunately that seems a long way off. Your comments are heartless!

Too bad if you don`t want to hear about the Vietnam War.

My Vietnam Vet recently died from exposure to Agent Orange, which is a real-life horror many of today`s Vietnam Vets are facing at the same time you`re busy typing about how much you don`t want to hear about it.

If you`re ever near a VA facility, stop in and chat with a few Vietnam Vets. They could teach you a lot.

no one really cares about the Vietnam war.

My father is a Vietnam vet and he doesn't care about that war anymore either

I honor John McCain`s service and sacrifice, both then and now. I don`t honor Donald Trump. His obscene "tough man" rantings about war and killing remind me of five-deferment Cheney. Easy to be tough while sitting in a Barco-Lounger with a lap full of deferments.
