1. Ari Rabin Havt, very knowledgeable inside DC, says this was good by both men.

My initial reaction to it when I watched it was Chris was doing everything he could to make a case that Bernie cant be prez and Hillary needs to be even though he never mentioned her once.

But given the way Bernie handled it, I think it was a win win for both of them.

Well done.

The trick is to have the answers.

3. "I dont know anything" was one of Bernie's answers LOL

everybody laughed, but he is honest when he admits he really cant predict what will happen in the first year or two.

But where he really made his point is by explaining the change CANT occur if we do nothing, if he stays silent.

I wonder if millions of young people will hit the streets and voting booth in demanding education and a living wage, etc.

I very much want Hillary to be president, if Bernie cant be, but if Bernie can be I truly believe within 10 yrs this place will be unrecognizable as to costs of education, healthcare, etc.

4. It's a matter of reforming this nation's priorities, randys1.

Instead of spending the vast majority of this country's discretionary spending on warmongering, subsidizing Wall Street banks and corporations that don't need it and reducing the taxes for the 1%ers who don't need it, Sanders is advocating investment in areas that benefit people at the lower and middle classes. It doesn't have to be a case of adding to what we're already spending on.

Whether you agree with Sanders or not, I'm glad to see there's a finally candidate who's bringing up the real issues at the root cause instead of engaging in diverting the political dialogue to the 4 G's - God, guns, gays and gynecology.

5. Oh, I am a LONG time supporter of Bernie and am on board with ALL of his economic policies

and I go even further, as most here know.

I would nationalize all energy sources, access to the internet, for starters.

Then, I would ask you this question: "Would you like the Koch Bros to own Waikiki Beach, Yosemite National Park and Yellowstone?"

That is EXACTLY what will happen if teaparty takes over,. and the way to avoid this is to stop allowing ANY human being or business from owning dirt.

But yeah, Bernie has some real big problems connecting to much of the minority community, not entirely his fault, mostly just messaging and optics, and without the minority community he cannot be elected.

Instead of lecturing POC why they should support him, supporters should be ONLY listening to their issues.

7. People will infer intelligence if one answers questions with "I don't know."

(Although something less than 100% is optimum.)

I have always been inspired by the Lone Ranger, who would answer the queries from second banana, Tonto, with, "I don't know," said authoritatively, followed by a decisive, "but I'm going to find out."

Point is, "I don't know," pegs you as smart, because stupid people always know.

He seemed to be in 100% gish gallop mode. To the point of being rude, disrespectful and distracting. I guess it's his method for being a "hard hitting reporter"?

Or maybe he's trying to be like Orally and Hannity in his interview style? At least Chris didn't "cut his mic" during the show!

9. He assumes things will stay the same but we will retake the senate. Veto proof

Plus keep the House from having a super majority from all the gerrymanering. Things will not stay the same and yes Sanders will have a more liberal SC...one that agrees with the majority of Americans. Mathews trying to brow beat Sanders into agreeing with him is pathetic. Keeps changing the questions while Sanders is answering in trying to confuse him. Old tactic showing Mathew is just another loudmouth blowhard with a huge amount of animosity toward Bernie.
