1. I did too
I wish we heard heartfelt, reflective opinions like this more often -- it would go a long way towards bringing people together.

2. Rachel Maddow. Awesome intelligence and a good person.
One of the few good journalists left on TV. I'm sure she works with a. Good support team.

3. I love Rachel!
I download her program audio-only podcast every night it is available. Unfortunately on these special nights MSNBC does not put it up.
Yes! She is a seriously geeky wonk! But she has done such good reporting where everybody else feared to tread. She helped break Bridgegate and went far beyond any other program in exposing it. She was the first national broadcaster to host their program from Flint, MI. She gets credit for bringing that issue to national prominence as well. Then there was the horrible Exxon oil disaster in the Gulf when she moved her entire production to NOLA to report on conditions there for days! For days! And Bernie and Hillary have both appeared on her program more than once. (Probably Bernie more than Hillary, I'd admit.) And that is just a start. Have I told you that I love Rachel? I really do. You should, too. My best. ![]() |

5. But but but......
I read just yesterday that Rachel Maddow was a corporate sell-out and a corporate tool who was only concerned about her job.
Or, maybe I'm thinking of another Rachel? |

6. She walks a thin line
in her heart a liberal who has experienced discrimination & has empathy for others while working for a corporation that wants what the fascists want, less government, less taxes, less entitlements. She pushed the limit with her statement about Sanders.

7. I only met her once
She sure didn't go on enough for me to get all that. You must have had a longer time with her. I did meet with the EP of most of the MSNBC political shows when I hung around "The Cycle," and that's not at all the impression I got from him. But then, I doubt canceling The Cycle and Ed was his decision.
Actually, ANY post I see with the word "corporate" I don't even take seriously any more. Rachel seems pretty comfortable in her own skin, and able to handle any restrictions they try to put on her, and get around them with skillful wording. She didn't earn her academic credentials by getting Daddy to pay for them. |

8. Whoever edited that video did an excellent job.
They cut the parts that were not worth showing, like the last few seconds where Upchuck Toad was about to give his opinion. Who gives a shit about Upchuck's opinion, they're less than worthless.
