good for the soul. And Harlem can be very hospitable. Get some rest, Bernie.

Several years back, I lived for a time in Fort Greene, Brooklyn -- a predominantly middle-class black neighborhood. I came to know, and love, a particular soul food restaurant in the neighborhood, which I believe is still in operation, named "Two Steps Down." Wonderful place with wonderful food -- and collard greens that were simply off the hook!

places to be, on time, every day and always close to an airport for the next gig. I worked a calendar once in a while and it is hard and tedious work. Always changes, never use ink!
