So will they start testing for psychopathy in High School, rather than waiting for victims to pile up. Generally accepted statistic 1% of the general population, 15% of the prison population and 50% of violent crimes, that is a whole lot of victims well are stupidly allowing to occur and their are tests that psychopaths can not cheat on, can not learn how to beat, that will detect them 100% of the time with no false positives.
Time to make a choice either start trying to save 50% of the victims of violent crime or keep on letting this insanity occur.

It's possible to identify them at a young age. I don't know about the tests you mention do you happen to have a link? I'd be interested in learning more, thanks.

So once you peg someone as a psychopath in high school, what do you do with them next even though they have committed no crime? Put them on a public list so employers can discriminate against them, so cops can ensure they don't travel beyond the spaces allowed for them? Put them in prison before they have a chance to commit crimes? Attach ankle bracelets so you can track them? You run the risk of denying a lot of people who haven't committed any crimes their civil rights.

This hits close to home. I worked closely with such a person. It was incredibly challenging.

I really don't think we should continue to allow psychopaths to determine financial policy.

I have had to deal with possibly two, one female..and I agree they should not be allowed any position of power and especially banking.

The Inuits had an interesting way of dealing with them...it's an interesting problem. I think being able to identify them when they show up in our lives is a good thing. Doesn't make anything easier but it stops the con.
