that's been my take on it, although I haven't wanted to allude to it here on DU because, you know, the American government is so moral and upstanding and all that.

And it didn't start because he killed his own people...killed his own people...killed his own people (the Empire wants you to keep saying this until you believe it).

He refused to bend his knee to the Hegemon. Likewise, Saddam and Kaddafi.

The information presented is appalling...but not at all surprising...the US government is capable of any lethal solution to any problem created by the US government...

especially the remarks by Gen. Wesley Clark, which I've heard numerous times, starting at about the 19:00 mark.

I doubt, though, that this video will have much resonance, here, mainly because it fails to sell the product. I will leave it to others to determine, for themselves, exactly what that product is.

Sadly, many people still cling to "it was all Bush's fault". For me, I think Bush is like the long snapper for a football team, he snapped the ball but ISIS did not take off until the US, NATO and allied countries with help from GCC nation set and kicked the ball through the upright.
