U.S. Congresswoman: CIA Must Stop Illegal, Counterproductive War to Overthrow AssadI am really liking this woman now. Sad none of the candidates currently running is brave enough to say what this congresswoman is saying. I hope her star rises and maybe one day she could be a viable presidential candidate.

1. How did the Arab Spring morph into the Islamist Spring?
What happens if the islamists take over or gain more power? What then for the Christians and minorities?
Libya is still a mess. Why continue and do the same thing again? I feel like we're living in a Bizarroworld again. |

7. To be honest we could take this back to before the end of WWII
Ever since the 1944 Democratic convention putsch that made Truman the VP candidate we have been on the road to hell. We've been subject to bizarroworld propaganda ever since. Thank the media for being such effective salespeople and the public for just wanting to have a few hours of quiet respite.

3. Every one of these covert ops by the CIA has, sooner or later, blown up in this country's face
Spying and intelligence gathering is one thing. Interfering with or intervening in the internal political struggles of other nations always comes back to haunt us. And still we never learn.

5. I'm absolutely in agreement with Ms Gabbard
Since my baby sister has been over in Hi since before Ms Gabbard was born I asked her for some input when she originally ran for office. I was ambivalent but she was the best choice for the office. This interview ,in spite of being conducted by Blitzer, shows that her understanding of the use of the military to control foreign policy is totally counterproductive. Not bad for a first term representative!
Keep an eye on this one! |
