In tribute to Robin's passing and to Barry who has no brothers to sing with anymore.
What a family! We were so lucky to have grown up with their music!

(15,445 posts)hits come on. Gotta move! Strangely, none of them were great dancers themselves.
Their concert performances were built around great melodies, awesome lyrics and amazing voices.
They never needed cheap theatrics or shock tactics--the music was enough.
And through it all, they stayed so genuine and humble.

(1,648 posts)I never considered myself a true "fan" of the BeeGees, but as I listened to the concert, I knew almost every song and yes it was part of my soundtrack of the last 45 years...Such talents, so true to performing without hype or special effects bullshit, I loved it.

(15,445 posts)I suspect hits have doubled since Robin's death. Maybe somebody else will try to upload it again.

(14,007 posts)I hit the disco floors to their dance numbers...but my true favorites were their early hits played over Radio Luxenburg while we were living in Germany.

(15,445 posts)it just fit with my tragicomic life at the time (1968).
It took me a while in 1978 to realize it was the same group with "Saturday Night Fever".
Edit: Thanks for the additional vid. They were just such authentic guys, besides being geniuses!

(15,445 posts)when of course you never knew them personally. Just more proof of how powerful music is and how much it marks us.
