Edited to note: Johnson is a Republican, but has supported non-partisan political organizations and most of his donations go to educational institutions. He's a moderate and has expressed an interest in a political career.

The short list of real candidates (house members) is almost as laughably sad.

I truly feel for those few reps that are trying to do a good job. It's got to be hard going to the job every now and then.

...and his departure coincides with Halloween, why not go with a make-believe character like Dr. Frankenfurter, or his creature in RHPS? I didn't bring up Meatloaf but now that his name is on the table, what the hell!

Hey, reality is just as bizarre. Louis Gohmert? Kevin MCarthy (who bears a striking resemblance to the RHPS creature, in case you haven't noticed)?

Fasten your seat belts, we're in for a bumpy ride!

Depends on your balance sheet.
Me? I'm somewhere in between.
For now.

That's why I'm planning to vote for Bernie. This period of uncertainty is totally manufactured. And unnecessary.

Stay tuned.

and agree with the poster above... Simmons might actually do a pretty decent job, given his experience in managing his businesses and doing PR for Kiss. Of course his personality might make a few Teapers' heads explode. But imagine how happy AIPAC would be if an Israeli-American became 3rd in line to the Presidency.
