AT&T is one of the largest cell phone carriers in the nation. Many Americans count on the company to keep them connected to the rest of the world, be it by phone or internet. But what do we do when a company like that is helping the NSA collect personal data from you?

1. It is very simple. AT&T (wireline) handles just about all the transport for the

nations telephone and wireless companies. Even if a telco is having a circuit delivered via Level 3, it will probably locally delivered via an AT&T fiber. At some point just about everything will enter an AT&T office somewhere.
