I Watched 14 Police Officers Take Down a One-Legged Homeless Black Man Outside Twitter HQ
And nobody could stop them (This is the article title. I am not the writer.)
San Francisco's finest:
Read the article by Elle writer and eyewitness to this travesty, Chaédria LaBouvier:

Then please share far and wide. Send to media and to govt officials, including the DOJ. If you are a constituent of San Francisco, contact your mayor & council members. If you work with one of the campaigns, please pass this on to them. If you have legal connections, please try to get this man representation.

Another Disabled Person Harrassed by the Police!
I've been screaming about this for years and no one will listen. Do you know how painful it is to have someone stand/put pressure on a prosthetic? It is the worst pain imaginable! I cried watching this. Sad, when my ending thought was, "so glad he didn't die." This is abuse! The disabled have had too many murdered by the police. Brothers and sisters of BLM, we stand with you and hope you recognize we are all in this fight together.

(8,760 posts)it is pretty bad when the best that you can say is.....at least they didn't kill him.
This man was committing a "quality of life" crime.
In an episode of "the Trews" , Russell Brand and Bill O' Reilly explain.

(60 posts)All able-bodied people should realize they are one bad second away from being terribly disabled!
I wish people realized this. And when you are stuck in a wheelchair, can't work, might be lucky to get a few pennies from Social Security after a year, I dare anyone to pay for a roof over your head! Especially in New York City.
Now let's all make fun of their misfortunes. Sick!

(18,124 posts)of the 'authorities' to a "black threat". When are white people going to stop this shit? I'll answer that. Never. Not without complete citizen overview of all cases like this by a racially diverse body and of general police practices and I don't mean a Ferguson type grand jury....this is beyond anger provoking.....protect and serve my ass.....protect some and serve summary judgement and executions on those most defenseless. They are not worth respecting on any level. And the person that called on this gentleman, if you're a business man or woman, I will pray to my gods that you have a severe downturn and lose everything your privileged ass ever worked for.

Four Swedish police officers, riding on New York City's 6 train, had to go back to work briefly, in order to subdue two men who were fighting.
While on their way to watch Les Miserables, two homeless men started fighting on an uptown 6 train in the middle of rush hour, DNAinfo reports. Witnesses told the news site that the trains conductor was aware of the fight and remained in the Bleecker Street station, asking over the loudspeakers if there were any police officers on board.
They were lying on the floor, one on top of the other, said Stockholm officer Makrus Åsberg, 25. We got to make sure that nobody gets hurt . . . try to calm them down without hurting them.
The officers repeatedly ask the men if they are injured, including the alleged aggressor, who at one point says he's can't breath. They pull off of him enough to make sure they aren't pressing his chest down to hard and ask him if he's injured, telling him to relax and calm down. It is possible to handle things welleven in bad situations.
You can watch the two minute clip below the fold.
My bad. Wouldn't work. We's still have to address the culture of bullying that we cultivate here in the USA.

(38,414 posts)These cops are not new to taking down people in this manner... What is new, is the technology that allows anyone with a cell phone to take a picture of what is happening.....Please look carefully at the scene, a real scene...being photographed as it is happening, and the cops know it is being photographed...live....now....
Please look at the expression on the faces of the officers, as they know they are being photographed, and cannot beat up the photographer...they cannot stop this from being on network TV, as they take down a person with one leg in San Francisco ...Why?
If they beat up the photography, there are too many witnesses to the beat up. Also, this is San Francisco, a liberal community...so that would ruin the towns reputation. So they cannot beat up the photographer and break his camera. ..Look at the helpless look on the cops faces as they take this person down. as someone said...."The times they are a changing"...oh ...and this one will go viral too...you can see this is a person with..one leg
