I listened to the story twice. The victim's attorney said the independent autopsy shows the the bullets came from behind the boy's car.

If the cop was black or white does not matter. Shooting someone in the back over a bag of weed is murder no matter what the race of the victim or the shooter. But the cop will likley be justified in this killing. I can tell by the dismissive attitude that police chief had in the video they already feel it was perfectly fine.
