I watched the video. After all the dust has settled, people are walking around by the limo and stopped locomotive. I was surprised at how little damage there was to the limo. It slid along the continuously welded rail rather get snagged and flip over.

Pictures of the 9212 show that it is equipped with a snow plow. That probably helped. I'm not sure why it has the snow plow. Maybe all the locomotives in that series do. It runs systemwide: Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania....

There's so much distance between the axles of those limos, the tires could not make contact with the road. I'm surprised you don't hear about more train-car collisions involving those stretch limos.

I can't find a clip of that scene where Roy Scheider puts BLUE THUNDER down on the Rail road tracks to destroy it at the end of the movie... That's what this reminded me of!
