This was on tv yesterday in the background, an I caught part of it. I think she defended her statement as having been made in regards to childhood obesity. So she said the words, but it was supposedly one of those things where you only say out loud part of what you're thinking. That still doesn't defend her supposed licking of donuts left out on the counter, though, and then not buying them. That was a pretty juvenile trick.

I have never heard of her. Probably because I listen to Gothic Metal.
But anyway. If she is against eating junk food, why was she in the shop to begin with?

With the nonstop coverage about this and most not believing her excuse at least on TV, why is this not brought up?

leave a 14 yr daughter in that death, for low-income people health care is not part of a work benefit and no the welfare does not pick up the health need when one works. She had a $700 a month income and was told by the state of Washington that she was $3 over the limit as to what they would allow for medical. You bet I'm behind this singer, I hate America, when you and your children have medical care and live and mine don't because we are low income, I'd have to be insane to care about this country. Get off your rears and fix this travesty like Europe has done. No one is refused medical care in developed Europe and I'm supposed to honor a country that lets my children die! Who in the hell are you kidding. And no don't tell me to do something about this as an individual, it takes people (more than one) to give a damn. Do I sound angry, gee I wonder why! You mean I'm just supposed to shut up? Fat Chance
