2. Every Democratic Candidate is accused of being a socialist.

This is a rite of the right, because a century and a half of anti-socialist propaganda in the US makes it a easy accusation by those on the right, and one believed by the majority of people who hold a conservative ideology.

The problem, of course, is that even on the left the long history of anti-socialist propaganda has left its mark.

What is remarkable is that he was with Martin Luther King marching----------most people don't know this
