but I heard they can't be housebroken and aren't necessarily safe.

I'd be interested in knowing what your experience of them is.

The others are outside dogs and training is constant. They're with a good consistent trainer.

Had a neighbor accuse my Labrador Retreiver of ripping out the throats of 8 of his Emus. He sued me until one night comeing home there was a huge dead coyote hit by a car in front of my house. I loaded it in my truck and called the neighbor. He came over with hair samples from his fence and plaster foot prints. They matched perfectly and also proved he knew my black Lab didn't do it. Coyote hairs have three distinctive colors that give them the look you see in the video.

The coyotes around here are lean and prancy, shorter and thinner haired than this guy. His back haunches are moving in the manner of a German Shepherd. His face is definitely coyote.

He even had the nerve to ask me if I had insurance I would file on. I threw him out and things were very in-neighborly after that to say the least!

Me and my husband found 3 pups on a road in upstate NY about 8 years ago , the mother had been killed by a car. We raised those puppies until we felt they were old enough to fend for themselves, I will tell you that releasing them was damn hard because they were a loving bunch of 4 legged brats.
