Our politicians could learn a great deal from FDR.

All they do today is exploit the fears of Americans and play us against each other and everyone else.

Unlike the sniveling sycophants to corporate lobbyists, and the brazen manipulators and demagogues that we have today. FDR was serving the nation and the people in a spirit of courage and moral character. Politicians nowadays would fall apart or be totally clueless if they faced the same daunting circumstances and challenges that FDR faced.
