We are Dead Stars...

Fascinating video. The only point I think she is wrong on is that one day there may be people who talk about when the stars rained down power and energy after all the stars burn out. I don't think there is life without the stars.

but we've barely scratched the possibilities on this rock and have absolutely no idea of what exists off it.

left out there after the stars are gone that are capable of generating their own energy. If so, then they may have stories/myths about stars.

But I do agree it would be highly unlikely there would be people around to talk about stars without stars.

being here for 67 years and watching compressed star material called human beings being human beings toward each other , I will be glad to return to the vastness of the universe and be rid of my part of being human. As far as I'm concerned, this is a disgusting place with disgusting people who do horrendous, cruel and vicious things to each other. Oh yeah, yeah we are capable of kindness, yet.......After Vietnam I vowed NEVER to hurt another living creature, if possible and I've stuck with that. The violence, ignorance and hate of the "star material" on this planet seems to be growing and humanity is devolving to where?

but I believe we are here to learn. Sometimes the lessons are incomprehensibly harsh. Vietnam gave you invaluable insights even as it cost you more than you could bear without great struggle. I hope you have been able to find peace from your commitment to do no harm. Each small act of kindness and doing for others does make the world a better place and helps to counter balance the bad. Thank you for developing a positive life response to the very negative experiences that were thrust upon you.

One scientist (I've forgotten which), muses that perhaps we are a sentient universe's attempt to understand itself...
