Democrats in Denial As Florida Democratic Party Chair Is EXPOSED! This is what happened in FLA!

&feature=youtu.be
(What Florida dems knew all along about her, and why they did not want her to lead!)

Published on Nov 5, 2014

February 2013 Tarpon Springs Democratic Club Meeting:

Allison Tant-Richard newly “selected” by U.S. Senator Bill Nelson and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to take the reins as Chair of the Florida Democratic Party in this video comes unhinged in response to a very civil and politely presented question from John Russell, a former registered Democrat.

Mr. Russell, merely asked the newly minted chairwoman and former paid lobbyist for DBT Inc., how she was qualified to take the helm of the FDP given her background and that of her husband.

Ms. Tant-Richard in 1999-2000 was a paid lobbyist for DBT Inc. which was the company commissioned by Secretary of state Katherine Harris under the gubernatorial administration of Republican Jeb Bush to scrub the voter rolls across the state of Florida for the then upcoming 2000 Presidential election featuring Jeb’s brother George W. vs Democrat Al Gore.

History tells us that DBT Inc. was responsible for scrubbing the names of 57,000 African Americans fro the voter rolls leading to the controversial recount which ended in the “determination” made by the U.S. Supreme Court handing the decision to Jeb’s brother George W. Bush.

Interestingly Allison Tant’s husband Barry Richard who also was/is a registered Democrat just happened to be the LEAD ATTORNEY for Team Bush in the landmark election dispute decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. This was all that John Russell was asking FDP Chairwoman Tant-Richard to explain.

Facts matter to most people just not the sycophant members of the Tarpon Springs Democratic Club apparently. Cognitive dissonance is a powerful thing and that is why John Russell’s request for an explanation was so difficult for these zealots to take. This is why they not only acted to silence John but also to physically accost him as the video clearly demonstrates distorted though the images from the ensuing ruckus clearly show. Denial of truth only facilitates the further degradation of what little democracy remains in this country resulting in what can only be characterized as a “CORPORATIST NATION!”

meaning, repubs and liberals disguising themselves as dems.

i do not know too many dems who are "minion" minded. we are higher educated and less likely to accept the status quo when it no longer works for us. a good number of dems voted green, working families, and independent in my state on the state & local level. i think we can expect to see the democratic party undergoing major changes in the elections to come - as the repubs will have to do if they even hope to remain a party.

Governor was the dumbest thing I saw in years. We absolutely HATED Crist as Governor so much the state voted him out. So out of a state with many great Democratic possibilities, we chose a guy who threw a quick D after his name that the state threw out a very short time before. Absurd!!!!!!!!

55. How long have you been Joe McCarthy?

The woman in question is a plant for the Republicans. The fact that she is running the Democratic Party in Florida speaks to either corruption in that state or else tremendous negligence on the part of Florida's Democratic leadership. These are problems with my party, the Democratic Party. I haven't a clue which party you belong to. She has absolutely nothing to do with Libertarians, whom I deplore by the way. You can't be an ardent advocate for single-payer healthcare, a champion of the New Deal, and a Libertarian at the same time. On the other hand, if a Libertarian protests foreign intervention, widespread surveillance, or the inhumane use of drones as a tool of foreign policy, I will support these policies, even though I will remain suspicious of their agenda. It's truly sad to me when my own party, the Democratic Party, hasn't the courage to speak up about injustice and corruption.

Now, why don't you take your witch-hunting elsewhere.

Anyone other than that are merely human energy to generate money for them.

Social issues are the only areas they are liberal, and bizarrely uber-liberal at that.

Libertarians promote the twisted belief of ayn rand, that the individual trumps society. She was a sociopath. Her heros were psychopaths. Libertarianism is a party for narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths, and megalomaniacs.

89. I'm not in the know the way an insider or an insider informed person would be, I was crazy to find

out the source for the strange behavior of some of our Democratic, also very puzzled by a large number of people calling themselves progressive not liberal and so on. I am annoyed it took me so long to notice but we have always had conservative Democratic etc. Anyway, quite accidentally we were handed the name of the group by the Koch's in such an obvious planned leak way I had to go looking about Democracy Alliance is the group. The Senators I wondered about first, one from NY, one from Oregon. Gillibrand and Wyden, go look at their senate.gov pages and their campaign pages, tell me what you think.

So no I am not in the know because I was given a list I suspected some behavior and went looking. It was like discovering the libertarians had taken over NPR, do you agree or disagree with that?

The great DUer blm reminded me the other day of Adnan Khashoggi's connection to the "Democratic" supervisor of elections for Palm Beach County who OK'd the ultra confusing butterfly ballot and others from October Surprise to BCCI to Arming Iraq to Iran-Contra to...Florida...

Did Adnan Khashoggi Throw the Election to Dubya?

Timothy Noah
Posted Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at 2:56 PM PT

On Dec. 1, the "Washington Wire" column in the Wall Street Journal published this gratifyingly noir item about the postelection drama in Florida:

"Madame Butterfly" Theresa LePore wasn't always an embattled Palm Beach ballots chief. In the 1980s, she moonlighted as a flight attendant on private planes owned by Saudi weapons dealer Adnan Khashoggi, a middleman in Reagan administration arms sales to Iran.

Connoisseurs of Khashoggi-centric conspiracy theories should have little difficulty using this information to finger Khashoggi as the mastermind of the plot to deny Al Gore the presidency. Khashoggi has close ties, from Iran-Contra and elsewhere, to the Republicans, and vaguely defined ties to Dubya's father. (In a 1990 court case, Khashoggi's phone records revealed that Khashoggi had spoken at least twice with George Bush's vice-presidential office during 1985 and 1986.) LePore worked for Khashoggi during the 1980s, when, according to her official biography, she was chief deputy supervisor of elections in Palm Beach County, a job she held until 1996, when she was elected supervisor of elections. Ergo, LePore has been working as a Khashoggi asset to elect the son of Khashoggi's old comrade-in-arms, George Bush!

Chatterbox doesn't actually believe this, of course. But the Journal's tidbit does provide an occasion to play one of Chatterbox's favorite games, "Six Degrees of Adnan Khashoggi," in which the shadowy international arms merchant is connected to every scandal of the past 40 years and some that occurred even earlier. (It helps that Khashoggi is a "connector," to borrow a term from Malcolm Gladwell's book, The Tipping Point. Click here for Gladwell's explanation of how connectors rule the universe, and click here to read Chatterbox's favorable review of The Tipping Point in the Washington Monthly. See also Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball's classic 1987 New Republic article, "The Swami of Iranamok," which describes the connector role played by Khashoggi's spiritual adviser, Shri Chandra Swamiji Maharaj.) "Six Degrees of Adnan Khashoggi" is a slightly misleading name for this parlor game because in Khashoggi's case, it's rarely more than one or two degrees. Allow Chatterbox to demonstrate:

Iran-Contra. Khashoggi brought Manucher Ghorbanifar, Iranian arms buyer, into contact with the arms-selling Israelis. Khashoggi himself provided crucial bridge loans and lost somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 million in the whole affair.

Imelda Marcos' Shoe Collection. In 1990, Khashoggi was tried, and acquitted, on charges that he helped the Marcoses conceal ownership of four buildings in New York.

Wedtech. Remember e.bob wallach, the crony of Ed Meese who, maddeningly, spelled his name in lowercase letters? wallach was an adviser to Wedtech Corp., a now-defunct Bronx-based minority contractor to the Pentagon. In that capacity, he tried to get Khashoggi onto Wedtech's board. Khashoggi never joined Wedtech's board. wallach was eventually convicted of defrauding Wedtech.

BCCI. The most complicated bank scandal in human history. Khashoggi had a big account with BCCI's Monte Carlo branch.

CONTINUED...Six-Parter...every sentence pure gold...

39. Corporatist U.S. Senator Bill Nelson Will be dispatched by Will Weatherford in 2016 Who Was Another

piece of crap Republican who was never opposed in any meaningful way by Democrats. Bill Nelson IS pathetic but wait and see what SHILL the Repubs put up in Will Weatherford who has NEVER held a REAL job. Ten years beyond that, Will Weatherford will be the Republican candidate for POTUS. There are costs associated with the policy of weak and pathetic purposefully non-competitive political parties and I am giving you two of them here. A third is Danny Burgess newly elected to the Florida Legislature. This kid is a Rep for Koch Industries, Duke Energy and Chevron among others. Again, in ordr for there to be the Harlem Globetrotters there must be the always willing loser foe e.g., The Washington Generals. I said this back in 2007, and I have never been proven wrong. JR

40. I Put The Link to THIS Page Up On Alison Tant-Richard's FACEBOOK Page... as well as Vice Chair

Alan Clendenin and REQUESTED HER RESIGNATION!

Tant's response to THE COMPLETE DISASTER which was this election in Florida for which she was the leader... is printed below.

This is taken from Tant's Facebook page... following the landslide defeat for Democrats in Florida...

"There is nothing like s Florida election! Thank you to everyone who put your heart and soul (and soles) into the effort. On both sides of the equation. While I decidedly did not get the outcome I wanted, I am proud of my team at the FDP and I am proud of our effort. we left nothing undone. We conducted a professional operation with our partners and candidates. We fought the power of the incumbency fueled by unlimited dollars and we damn near took it. We It should never have been that close. Midterm elections across the country were tough for us Ds. We had about the only dem pick up in the US with Gwendolyn Graham who i am very proud of and thankful for! and we live to fight another day bc that's what people do, who care about the conditions of others."

Same line that I have heard in every election for the past 15 years. THIS is just not even remotely sufficient JR

Where is the accountability?

42. Post Debacle Message From Florida Democratic Party Vice Chair Alan Clendenin on his Fbk page.

"Politics is not a spectator sport. True change comes from courageous people making personal sacrifices by putting their lives into a fishbowl by running for elected office to represent the voices of others.
As Democrats, we share common values that unite us as one big-tent-party. To all candidates who were on the ballot, from the school board to the state house, thank you for your courage to stand for our values. We must not be consumed by disappointment or drown in the past. We must grow together.
We have lost six champions for education, healthcare, and the environment in the State House. We lost the governors mansion, we lost the entire cabinet and we lost union and organizational resources. Let us not lose our morale.
We cannot allow ourselves to be crushed and broken by the vice grip of special interests that have crippled democracy.
As we celebrate our victories and mourn the campaign loss of so many great Democratic friends, we must start a period of reflection and a vision for new beginnings.
Stay vigilant, stay engaged and together we will grow. "

LUDICROUS! The Democratic Party in Florida needs to be completely DISBANDED. Completely keelhaul EVERYONE who is ANY leadership position in the party and re build it from the ground up. Remove ALL 3rd Way and DLC types and start over completely. 75% of American workers earn LESS than 50 K annually. There is your PARTY right there! These are the people for whom the Party must be constructed not Republicans with an"D" aft er their name! JR

require that, let's just say as a for instance, 75% of all key leadership positions are given to those who are in with the 75% who earn $50 K or less.

I'm sick of the super rich being bought and sold and traded around as 'consultants' who obviously have no principles and could just as easily take a high paying position for another party, whether it be for the republican party or for some shitty mega-corporation.

Just tossing out some thoughts. Still furious about this mountainous pile of bullshit.

My response to the sycophants giving me shit on Tant's page... Once again, the sycophants are amazing. Cognitive dissonance is so apparent here. The people dissing me here (The MESSENGER), just love being someone who can say I know these people. Well apparently this group of like minded people do not give a rat's ass how dastardly have been the deeds of the people that you love to say that you 'know!" The pathetic nature of Democrats who will support ANYONE who has MONEY and or some position of perceived importance over people who are legitimate actors for traditional Democratic policy positions is a big part of the problem. It is called lack of character and integrity. To Brett who lauds the "fundraising," What is Alison blaming the loss on? BEING OUTSPENT? C'mon... Get a grip.

The loss is because there were so many seats at EVERY LEVEL unopposed, with weak candidates, unknowns or retreads who were unsupported. The Democratic DLC/THIRD WAY line is a Republican light skew and does not inspire Democrats to go to the polls. The people in charge put in place by Bill Nelson need to pack their bags and get out for the good of the people they purport to want to represent. I AGREE with Love my Dog as well! Put the people who make up the 75% earning under 50k annually in charge... which I also stated above in another post and you might have a DEMOCRATIC PARTY! THAT PARTY is the one Americ a NEEDS right now. However, with a Political "System" that functions 100% on MONEY of the CORPORATE kind, I am not sure how well it could work. I would definitely give it a try as we are tubular at present. CLEAN HOUSE AND KEELHAUL THE LOT OF THEM! Regards, JR

not allowing any other democratic candidates to speak at democratic venues who are running for president, if their name is not Hillary Clinton.

This is the tactic she used in this race for governor, before Charlie Crist even announced he was running, or filed, she REFUSED TO ALLOW the democratic Senate Leader to speak at our state convention! Everyone was outraged, upset to say the least! This was one reason Crist's race was lukewarm, along with not respecting the process and debating the other democratic candidate. A woman, who's been in office longer than him, and a true democrat. What a shame.

Alison Tant Richardson will do this again, for the corporations who will be pulling for Jeb Bush in Florida.

Tant needs to go before the presidential cycle begins. Wasserman needs to go as well.

And, maybe a democrat needs to run for Bill Nelson's seat? For it's he who has perpetuated this upon democratic Floridians over and over, with tainted party chairs. The one before this one was a drunk, a real embarrassment in public!

102. THIS IS THE PARADIGM THAT WE MUST CONQUER and ELIMINATE

Nothing new here… The FDP is charged with maintaining the status quo which is defined as keeping Republicans in charge be they registered as Republicans or Democrats… witness Tant-Richard and her husband Barry as the prima facie example.

As a candidate for Congress in 2008 I was advised that a Lake County DEC member was actually filling out ballots for other DEC members and casting votes for my opponent, Republican incumbent Ginny Brown-Waite. I have been ostracized in the media with false information (He is a physical threat, aggressive etc.) by FDP hacks to include specifically Allison Morano who has been “taken care of” by The Party for years well before she was actually accorded an official paid position.

The folks in charge will jump all over anyone who questions the credulity of their actions or lack there of. I was not the only one to be accosted by these hacks with the able assist of a media equally responsible for keeping the status quo undisturbed. Former Space Coast Congressional Candidate, Vietnam Veteran Fighter Pilot and War Hero Robert Bowman was treated similarly.

I understand that it is difficult for most to accept, but this political racket has been purposefully engineered by powerful insiders who avoid the limelight at all costs while eager shills work for on their behalf in return for money and/or social rewards.

This unenviable paradigm will only be broken when it is exposed to the light of day in all of its putrid detritus. THIS is the paradigm that we must overcome and replace with democracy because as it stands presently we have none.

The Steps of The Florida State Capitol, Spring 2007… and NOTHING has changed…

CorporatistNation is coming...

106. Seniors Citizens are confused intentionally

It’s the Seniors Citizens are confused intentionally with lies.

The Mainstream Media knows it, has known it for decades. This is currently proven and exampled by the huge amounts of advertisements in life insurance being sold on free air television, or reverse mortgage, in addition to huge AARP advertisements, senior ads all the time.

The more I visit places loaded with senior citizens it becomes apparent that the politics can be manipulated easily by scaring, building a false positive hope for the senior citizen. Especially back to back scare ads about either party.

It’s beginning to be my personal opinion the mainstream media legally should not perform opinions or poles anymore, especially having interviews days or hours before or during an election or before an election.

It’s obvious that creates bias or favor in the election. Only debates necessary and good for telecasting but definitely not carried out by mainstream media journalist anymore.

This a moral issue deep and to the core of general integrity in all the persons that run for office especially all that do party switching. I recall that Senator Arlen Specter a staunch Republican for thirty years once quoted he changed to the Democratic ticket because he wanted to save his Job.

111. HERE COMES NELSON! As predicted

Now he's insulating himself to continue the power of his position to keep Tant as leader, via coming together with elected officials to keep the status quo. He's ignoring the issue of the CHAIR, the friendship with the Bush's for the coming elections. Conflicts don't begin to describe the history here. See Bill remain in control here. This has to stop.

112. Sentient Human Beings Must Agree...

There is enough documentation from the past 15 years or so that clearly demonstrates that the FDP is not interested in electing Democrats. They are The Washington Generals whose job it is to provide an easily beatable foe for the Harlem Globetrotters e.g., The Republican Party of Florida. Whether it is Debbie Wasserman-Schultz publicly endorsing Republican candidates on numerous occasions or Thurman telling Democrats to vote for Republican Mike Bilirakis rather that Chuck Koulianis in a 2002 Congressional race it is all the same mode of operation every time.

If there is a Democrat or NPA with some character and integrity in a race against a Republican, sure as hell the FDP will find another Dem of any sort to primary the good candidate. Yet they have so many races without candidates that they do not even attempt to recruit for. Why is that?

I have personally had to deal with these corrupt people on numerous occasions both as a Democratic candidate and a No Party Affiliation candidate. It is clear to more people than ever before that the Florida Democratic Party IS purposefully inept in playing their role to perfection in maintaining the status quo by quashing any opposition to especially neanderthal Republicans like Gus Bilirakis. Where was Jonathan Michael Snow in 2014? Where does the buck stop? No accountability. Resign Allison NOW!

CorporatistNation is coming...

116. Today, Daniel Ruth of the Tampa Bay Times writes how Tant ignores her leadership responsibilities

http://www.tampabay.com/opinion/columns/ruth-democrats-navel-gaze-republicans-win/2207148

"After coming off an election debacle best described as the Charge of the Ultra Light Charade, as Florida's Democrats pretended to be a political party, state Chairwoman Allison Tant, the Gen. Halftrack of the Hustings, created a blue-ribbon panel of prominent Democrats (all 14 of them) to study the election's outcomes and recommend ideas to transform the party in time for the 2016 campaign. Forget the pig. This is going to be like putting lipstick on Lenin's corpse."

When all the chin-rubbing and thumb-sucking and brow-furrowing is over, Florida Democrats hope to accomplish three goals: a) "Review best practices for candidate recruitment for local, state and federal offices;" b) "Examine data and digital footprint to ensure new technologies are being utilized;" and c) "Assess field and turnout operations and recommend steps to improve performance."

We might also add a fourth element: Replace Tant with someone who knows how to compete in a knife fight.

You don't need to be some well-paid consultant to figure out this is a faux political party with all the bench strength of the Little Rascals when it comes to cultivating future candidates who have a chance to win a statewide election.

117. Read the comments too!

My sense is the lot of these Republicratic "Leaders" will try to hold on and see if all of THIS will... blow over. It should not! Presently and for the past 15 years minimum there has not been an Opposition Party to the Republicans. Lets try and Reform the Democrats and failing that everyone go No Party in protest and get behind progressive No Party candidates.

126. And some say all we need

are "Better Democrats"!??!
Hell, I'd settle for a regular "run of the mill old school" Dem - The "corporate insurgency of the Dem Party" is eerily like what happened to the GOP when the tea party invaded. Hopefully a very public and widespread "dem" Leadership VS the Democratic Wing Base fight is about to ensue.
Question is-will remaining Democrats Care enough to fight for the Party or will they just leave??? Oregon is experiencing a "mass exodus" from Both major party's over the last couple cycles.

Call 'em Out---boot 'em Out.

There are TWO sides to a story, not just the TeaLeft's.

Here is Tant's LONG list of credentials. http://www.floridadems.org/our-party/our-leadership/chair/allison-tant

She showed strength? She has been AWOL since the election.

She failed. She did not raise the money they said that she could. She was an epic failure!

137. There is Zero Defense for Tant!

Merely claiming that you are a "Registered Democrat" may be good enough for political insider types however the test of legitimacy irrespective of your party registration are the words that you have spoken and the actions that you have taken as an individual. Tant's actions, her employment and her associations including the activities of her husband (Bush Lawyer Barry Richard) roundly disqualify her from the position she was "appointed to/ selected for" by Bill Nelson et al. CorporatistNation is coming...

140. Tant and Her Ilk Need to Pack Their Bags... and Go Home!

THAT PARTY is the one America NEEDS right now. However, with a Political "System" that functions 100% on MONEY of the CORPORATE kind, I am not sure how well it could work. I would definitely give it a try as we are tubular at present. CLEAN HOUSE AND KEELHAUL THE LOT OF THEM! Regards, JR
