Michael Brown Shooting Once Again Exposes Racist Media

breakingtheset * Published on Aug 11, 2014

Manuel Rapalo reports on the shooting of 18 year old St. Louis resident, Michael Brown, highlighting the disproportionate violence against blacks in the America, as well as the race-baiting by the news media that helps perpetuate a cycle of police violence.

“Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. ”

racism or bigotry has to be one of the BIGGEST JOKES going!!

Not sure why people still seem to think RT is respectable enough to post on DU...I don't see too many "Infowars" or "World Net Daily" etc articles or videos on DU but RT seems to be many DUers go to source for news. SAD.

To be honest, RT is worse than any other conspiracy media source I mentioned because it is state sanctioned propaganda coming from the Kremlin, from Putin, the guy who has journalist beat up, locked up or even killed for not reporting as told.

but to learn (in this video) that the body of an innocent young man was left on the street uncovered for 4 hours leaves me first speechless & then blubbering in rage.

It was a total FU to the people of the community who will grieve Michael Brown.

How feudal of the cops in a head-on-a-pike sort of way. How cruel. How absolutely unforgivable.
