How does a Hospital Conceal "Rocket Launcher Terrorists?" How do they DO THAT?

Terrifying Night in Gaza": Sharif Abdel Kouddous Reports on Israeli Ground Invasion
Were the HAMAS Rocket Launchers Concealed in the Hospital? How could this BE that ANYONE would Shell A Hospital?

Published on Jul 18, 2014

http://www.democracynow.org - The Israeli military is pushing deeper into Gaza and threatening to "significantly widen" its ground offensive that began on Thursday night. Over the past 11 days, at least 264 Palestinians have been killed, mostly civilians. The death toll of children is approaching 50, including three teenagers killed today by Israeli tank shelling near the northern town of Beit Hanun. Israel suffered its second fatality when one of its soldiers was killed in Gaza. Israeli media says the soldier was likely killed by friendly fire. Israel maintains the new ground offensive was needed to target tunnels used by Palestinian militants, but many civilian facilities have been hit, including a media office in Gaza City and the el-Wafa rehabilitation hospital forcing the evacuation of patients. We speak to Democracy Now! correspondent Sharif Abdel Kouddous, whose new article for The Nation magazine is "Death and Destruction in Gaza as Israel Launches Ground Invasion."

2. It has nothing to do with ordinance.

It has to do with destroying civilian infrastructure.

Gaza rockets were fired close to the hospital; Israel knew where they came from, destroyed the hospital as collective punishment. That is according to the doctor in charge of that hospital, which contains frail seniors.

You can only blame Hamas, Hamas, Hamas for so much.

Hamas didn't conceal weapons in the UN stores building, either. That's been shelled every time that Israel goes into Gaza. They were shelling ambulances, and killed journalists travelling in a clearly marked car.

There is no excuse for this; it is a war crime.

4. Sadly your last sentence seems to be all too common with Israeli military action.

Our tax money is supporting it.

It's all fine though, some that don't really need any more money are getting richer off the arms sales.

We have Representatives and Senators who would willingly starve and deprive of shelter American citizens but see no problem with aiding the Israeli war machine. There are times I wish I wasn't agnostic.

7. Agree...the evidence just seems to be so contrary to the situation on Ground in Gaza.

It defies imagination how this can be defended. Where do the Gaza People have to go as any real sanctuary to get away from this?

the explanation went something like this-if something is useful to enemy combatants in their efforts then it is no longer civilian, hence with that in mind no infrastructure is civilian not water, not sewer waste treatment/removal, not electricity, not roads, nothing

so far during this campaign I have not read that where infrastructure is concerned but it has been used before

where else to hide weapons of self defense......

Furthermore, what are those weapons being hidden....exponentially less capable qualitatively and quantitatively than those being supplied to the Israelis by the US .....

9. Each bomb is a terrorist seed to sprout more terrorists. Why can't Israel and the U.S. learn this?

There must be a complete change in how both sides react and treat each other. Palestinians punishing those who strike out at Israel, and Israelites punishing other Israelites who continue this senseless fighting. Aid to rebuild and give the Palestinians hope, jobs and a life!

I know, it's "too complicated" for that! The hatred runs to deep to get out of the spiral of death! Sad!

that's seems to be their goal.
I have been reading so much post about Hamas using palestinians as human sheilds or hiding in hospitals or shooting rockets into Isarel.
Without the label ¨terrorist¨ noone can defend what Israel is doing. So I assume now that they need the terrorists.

to war. Destroy pretty much everything in his path to demoralize, defeat and disrupt the enemy . He said "War is hell" and he left behind bitterness that lived on for generations and framed, IMHO, the mind and culture of the South.

"This war differs from other wars, in this particular. We are not fighting armies but a hostile people, and must make old and young, rich and poor, feel the hard hand of war.

Some interesting quotes of his regarding peace, labor and capital, citizens and his friendship with Grant.

many views we deal with these days. And, imagine his strategy is taught in the "War Colleges" to those who have no family memories of what kept the South so backwards all those decades and why they still are angry....even when there was opportunity the Politicians used Sherman's tactics to keep it all rolled back.

Thanks for that "moment of truth" about the consequences of Sherman's Strategy and he consequences. To him the Beaten South was filled with Terrorists who could RISE AGAIN.

He accomplished his mission...but the consequences to the People of the South (the poor) not the entitled "Planter Class" lived on to this day...(not all the Planter Class...but, enough)...they made fortunes in real estate for their heirs through the passing on of the land that was left to Timber Cutting and late on to Resort Developments funded by Wall Street and Investor Dollars and Banking and other Resource Developments through the years. The Poor, Uneducated were "ripe for picking by turning them on their own with Religion and Insulation...and ridiculed targeting of their Values and Lifestyle by Hollywood for decades. The "Monster" that has arisen out of that with Corporations and Religious fighting over the RW/Religious/Disenfranchised vote has infected our politics so strongly for Decades that Even Today it's almost overwhelming in the control and the amounts of Corporate Money that goes into feeding people to work against their own interests because you can GAME THEM against themselves. Civil War.....Sherman.....etc.

Sorry this is simplistic...but, got what you said and wanted to reply.

Sherman Ground under his Forces the already DEFEATED starving poor...and innocents (who weren't for the Planter Class defending Slavery) who were involved in that bloody war and who were penalized by the "Planter Class." which the poorer of them (the Truck Farmer Class... also got hit and wiped out).

Yes...this is controversial because it's viewed in other ways as Overview...but it was CONSEQUENCES of beating again a defeated people....and arranging for profit those who started it all.

Much there...if one digs into the weeds.
