"SNIP.....................

Sen. Bernie Sanders has been laser-focused on one issue for decades, and it might be time for the government to start making moves. This whole speech is riddled with hugely important thoughts, but some highlights for me were average wages for men and women at 8:19, our changing government at 14:29, and the amount of money concentrated in 25 hedge fund managers at 4:34.

We will have no economy, no movement of money in our country if we allow this to continue.

Wealth cannot be measured entirely by the things that a few people or even a good number of people own in our country. Wealth is the ability to move products and services from one person to another in a country.

A country in which the oligarchy country owns as large a portion of the wealth as the oligarchy in our country is like a pond in which the oxygen has been sucked out and not even the tiniest minnows or flies can breathe well enough to survive.

Just look at the Main Streets in many communities -- hair salons, one or two drug stores, a hardware store that is barely surviving, some fast food places, maybe one or two local eateries and the rest -- bar after bar. Is that an America that can remain prosperous for anyone?

The oligarchs, of course, are relying on a world economy that keep them rich and happy. They could care less about Americans.
