(33,982 posts)Not the majority examples given, but mixing them in with the rest doesn't make sense if your message is 'don't watch porn'/'don't make porn'.
'Non-porn' actors and actresses die the same. Madeline Kahn died of brain cancer. Paul Walker died in a car crash. (Granted, not a 'normal' car crash like most of the examples given here.)
Why? Because ALL PEOPLE die these ways too. This particular group just seems to self-select higher for drug abuse. (But perhaps not compared to the entertainment industry overall?)

(2,062 posts)I believe the message is, (now this is my own opinion), the porn industry is not all fun sex and great living. I believe this video shows an abundance of abused, drug induced, depressed young people who can't cope with themselves, or are disgusted in themselves for doing it. I also think older porn stars are also subject to life on the streets as prostitutes, and drug dealers. If you dont watch, then they cant sell it, and the industry will fade away? is that part of it? not sure that will every work, some are never going to stop watching, just like some makers will kidnap, and force porn and child porn...

(573 posts)Another couple hours would not be enough of her. A refreshing attitude that is sorely lacking in the current state of our social condition.
I could imagine her walking into the House and every evangelical teabagger representative's brains would implode. Every one has probably watched her at one time or another and their psyche would not equate that with their present state.
