This actually makes an excellent case for changing the Pledge of Allegiance to be to the Constitution of the United States of America, instead of to a flag.

"I pledge allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

That said, we need to remove the Corporation as Persons fiction. Money is not speech. WE are a Nation of Laws, not of men.

Just an example of Americas steady creep towards total Fascism.

The steady propaganda by the powers that be as just about paralyzed Americas to the truth of what is really happening, and have created a climate of perpetual fear and paronoia, and have scared many Americans into thinking that this is the only way to go to keep us safe.

"They want to kill us.
They hate us for our freedoms.
They want to take over the world.
They want to destroy Western civilliation.
They hate us for what we have.
Muslims dont have a religion,it is a cult.
They want to destroy Israel.

Have many Americans ever thought why they dont like us is,maybe because we invade, attack and occupy their land and dont want to leave?
How can we expect them not to want to drive us out of their land and be nice to us?
If the situation was reversed would Americans be satisfied with Arabs/Muslims occupation of America,or would they be carrying out the same"Terrorism" to rid America of the foreign occupiers, now matter how noble they told us their occuation of our land was for?

Doesn't this Graham putz realize he's pretty much talking about treason?

Senators swear an Oath to UPHOLD the Constitution, not destroy it.

Hey, people of earth, most of us Americans are even more stupid than Graham. America is a threat to the world with thinking like this from our Top Leadership. Can't the rest of the world please do something to make us stop?

As an officer in the USAF he also swore to defend the Constitution...but I think for most it's just words that guarantee a steady paycheck and have no real meaning.

That's why people need lawyers.

They seem to believe that it's impossible to accuse someone of being a terrorist without him being one.

Sounds like more Republican illogic-isms. They let emotions become more authoritative than the rule of law, or reason.

...and this will NOT escape the notice of future historians.

The Wiki entry for "McCarthyism:"

------snippet------

McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of disloyalty, subversion, or treason without proper regard for evidence. The term has its origins in the period in the United States known as the Second Red Scare, lasting roughly from the late 1940s to the late 1950s and characterized by heightened fears of communist influence on American institutions and espionage by Soviet agents. Originally coined to criticize the anti-communist pursuits of Republican U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin, "McCarthyism" soon took on a broader meaning, describing the excesses of similar efforts. . . .

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCarthyism

Replace the "Red Scare" and "communist" references with "War on Terror" and "al Qaeda" and it could readily serve as the Wiki entry for "Grahamism," and in all likelihood, one day will.
