1. It's good to see the American electorate finally waking up from their decades-long slumber.

Let us hope this will continue through the 2014 elections, or there'll be more Teapublican obstructionism that's currently destroying our country.

8. Now if the Republicans in Congress would wake up it'd be even better.

But they're drinking their hallucinogenic tea.

10. They'll only wake up from their stupor when Wall Street comes calling.

Republicans don't listen to anyone else, but Wall Street is currently knocking on their door. It's only a matter of time before Wall Street begins banging on it and scare the living daylights out of the Republican leadership.

37. Do you have link to the actual WSJ/NBC poll?

Just curious...The link here takes you to the Maddowblog and there is no link their to the original WSJ/NBC poll?

Thanks.

38. There was a link at the Maddowblog. The word "poll" was hyperlinked.

It would take you to another MSNBC page (under First Read) and there is a link to the PDF WSJ/NBC poll.

Here is the link to that PDF: https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmsnbcmedia.msn.com%2Fi%2FMSNBC%2FSections%2FA_Politics%2F_Today_Stories_Teases%2FOct_poll.pdf

...which makes these results doubly jaw-dropping!!!!

They used the same pollsters that showed Mitt Romney winning handily.

had not been appointed to high-level positions.

We could have put the Republican Party out of business.

25. Heard Lush on the way home and...

...of course, the media manufactured the poll and cites Nate Silver claims "the GOP has far greater support than Obama." Made Dick Morris' great Carnac The Magnificent election prediction last year seem like a fart in a wind tunnel.

You may wonder why I'd listen to that gasbag in the first place. Well, know thy enemy.

26. Here's another one.. New National Survey: Shutdown Severely Damaging GOP

"A just-completed national survey from Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research confirms that the voting public is fed up with just about everyone in Washington, but Republicans are clearly bearing much more of their anger and it damaging their prospects for 2014.

By a 16-point margin, 43 to 27 percent, voters blame the Republican in Congress, rather than President Obama and the Democrats, for the government shutdown."

It should be more.. but what the hay.. this is pockets of brainwashed America we're talkin' about.

28. Interesting, I heard a small part of Limbaugh today and that is not what he said the poll showed

Apparently, he thinks that 50 something percent blame Obama and the Dems. He kept saying that the MSM was ignoring the number he came up with. They are probably ignoring it because it isn't true.
