I'm not a big fan of country music, but Vince Gill Rocks!

I talk a lot of shit about country music because it’s terrible, and the majority of its listeners are why America is an anti-intellectual fartbox of little kids accidentally shooting themselves with their parents’ freedom guns, but let’s set that aside for a moment and focus on Vince Gill being a goddamn badass. Above is a video of him confronting the Westboro Baptist Church who, decided to picket his concert on Sunday in Kansas City because – wait for it – he’s married to Amy Grant who was, GASP, once married to another man. Give em hell Vince.

I like his music. I'm not much into country either, but his duets with Patty Lovelace have beautiful harmonies!

Though, unlike the OP, I do like country music to an extent.

I also have to say that Vince Gill's duet with Dolly Parton is my favorite version of the song "I will always love you."

PS: Dolly Parton is the one who originally wrote and sang that song too!

...from Bach to Bacharach, from Liszt to Cash, from Mozart to Big Mama Thornton, all music soothes my soul.

- Vince has a nice voice, and he's a good egg. Can't ask for anymore than that from anyone. And here's a couple I like:
