Deep Space Industries - Mining The Universe For The Future

http://deepspaceindustries.com/ The human race is ready to begin harvesting the resources of space both for their use in space and to increase the wealth and prosperity of the entire world.

Our Vision:

Deep Space Industries believes the human race is ready to begin harvesting the resources of space both for their use in space and to increase the wealth and prosperity of the people of planet Earth.

Our Philosophy:

Our philosophy is to drive towards the achievement of this guiding Vision while securing a strong reputation as a credible, nimble and profitable commercial space operations, mining and manufacturing firm, with a no-nonsense, high integrity can do attitude.

Our Mission:

Our Mission is clear: DSI will build on the incredible heritage of the first age of space exploration and harness the power of a new age of information to locate, explore, harvest and utilize the vast numbers of asteroids in Earth's community. We will do so by being creative and practical -- taking small steps to begin with, and giant leaps when we can -- to supply our customers and provide a new and hopeful future for humanity.

2. With the advancement of robot technology, I highly doubt that large human colonies will be needed.

They will probably just have a small crew that will change out every six months.

6. Large human space-borne colonies would be next, an environment

with unlimited cheap energy, with raw resources gathered robotically? The Space colonies would have a living style that would be incredibly high

You know... Monsatan & Co, because...

Honey bees are dying in droves in the meantime...

Their extinction will prelude ours very shortly...

9. OTOH, I doubt life up there, in any artificial world, is sustainable.

Due to constant solar irradiation, of which we are protected from down here.

Permanent cancer-prone environment up there, so it's unrealistic.

10. And personally, I think this species should focus on cleaning up our mess down here...

And focus on keeping it clean, starting with regulating all synthetic materials, capturing all excess of carbon out of the air and shipping it back to the sun or deep underground where it came out from...

Instead of dreaming of another problematic (human-made) chimera.

15. I'm sure people said the same thing about the Wright Bros too, so your

in good company.

Unlimited resources mean the 1% loses political control over the 99%. Unlimited energy changes the political and social-economic landscape and further overthrows the existing power structures.

Yep, I can see what your talking about, lets continue to fight wars over dwindling resources, allow the PTBs to keep control over fewer and fewer resources. Makes perfect sense.....
