1. I watched this program twice that night

When it ended, they re-ran it.

James Brown spared Boston a lot of reactive violence, make no mistake. Even when he screwed up in his later years, I always remember him for this.

2. Look at the gun debate today....

Underneath it all there is a veiled threat from the Right Wing that they will unleash an army of gun nuts upon America if they don't get their way.

What am I saying,...it's not just the issue of guns. They have been holding that threat out there over EVERY issue. Michelle Bachmann used it on the issue of carbon credits.

3. There's no Godfather to calm the troubled waters, either. nt

4. They WANT chaos. Nixon used the riots to run as the "Law and Order" guy.

5. They should take a lesson from James Brown and that old reprobate with the

bad comb-ovah, May-ah Kevin White (what a pair of names, given the times...).
