Dear Groundhog:

I checked the weather for Punxsutawney PA for Sunday - looks like snow this weekend, that means clouds CLOUDS!!!, that means no shadow!!!

Look you glorified squirrel I am sick of this horrible winter so even if DO see your shadow you damn well better tell those scientists in top hats that you didn't or so help me I will reach in that fake tree stump and .....Ugh!!! Do NOT see your shadow!!!

this post is in no way meant as a threat to any stupid fat stinkin' woodchuck type creature (YOU ARE A WOODCHUCK for crying out loud)... I digress ... and "Ugh!!!" was in no way used as a substitute for "punch you in the junk".

Happy Groundhog Day!!!

with highs in the 40s for the next week or so. The front came through bone dry, consistent with the rest of the winter.

Maybe the east will moderate a bit and maybe we'll have a soggy spring.

Probably too much to ask for.
