Seriously, thanks for posting this. Its almost shocking to me to encounter works like this based on real research, real science, where somebody looked at the data, identified the groups and put together a narrative to describe it. That's so rare, people are usually trying to squeeze all thoughts on politics into the right vs. left mold which is scalar at its best and Boolean at its worst. People are more complex than given credit for. It was a huge learning experience to discover the New Coalition democrats, upbeat about the economy and highly religious, as well as a real break down of the centrists. Big +1.
