According to online polling company Civiqs' dynamic approval rating graph, DeSantis currently has a net approval rating of negative 19 points, with an average of 55 percent of respondents disapproving of him, compared with 36 percent who have a favorable view of the Republican. The data shows DeSantis has a major unfavorable rating from those aged 18-34 (63 percent), women (62 percent), as well as African Americans (85 percent), and the Hispanic/Latino population (68 percent). In comparison, the Florida Governor's overall approval and disapproval rating was tied at 47 percent in early December. 2. The whole GOP is rotten to the core
“Kick in the door and the entire rotten edifice will collapse”. Hope those words will prove to be true in this case.

4. His non stop terror bills and carte blanche legislative branch
Must have given him the idea it would be easy to roll over the country. His lack of compassion, bankrupt personality and sky high economic problems in his state is a high hurdle to overcome when the rest of the country says..no thanks.

9. When he really "collapses" and never wakes up,
I will rejoice. For now, this is a small political bump. He is not going away any time soon.

11. Stay vigilant, everybody.
In the last free election in Weimar Germany before Hitler took over, the Nazi Party actually lost seats in the Reichstag. President Hindenburg only asked Hitler to serve as Chancellor because it was believed Hitler could form a governing coalition among the many squabbling political parties.
Don't get complacent. |

12. I don't think DeFascist will get anywhere near the 2024 nomination...
...but I expect him to try again in 2028.
Sadly, I don't believe he'll go away anytime soon. |

14. It's having an effect on other Republicans running for office in Florida
and it has given the Biden administration hope that they can carry the state in 2024. If things keep going like this, that will happen.
