Oh, that makes so much sense. Buy a company, make a whole bunch of unsettling decisions, then threaten people who buy ads from you because they prefer a platform with stability.

You know, I have almost no money and no business experience, but even I can see how absurd a strategy that is.

and then move on. It really doesn't matter what he (musk) does, that's how it will play out.

. . . But people have been organizing and mobilizing long before the advent of social media.

I was just out for a walk a few hours ago and a small caravan of cars was riding through the neighborhood. The lead car had a "Vote For Wes Moore"* sign stretched across the hood. They were honking their horns and waving. I gave them a smile and a thumbs up and waved back.

If Twitter melts into Right-Wing goo, people will find other ways to communicate.

* Democratic candidate for governor of Maryland.
