3. Big K & R. Thanks for posting the astute survivor's truth.

4. I'm currently reading Wilhelm Reich's "The Mass Psychology of Fascism".

I know, I know, he has a reputation as a crank.

But he lived through this in Europe, and so far I think his insights are fascinating.

He was eventually arrested (for crankery) by the US Government, all his books, his lab and notes were destroyed, and he died in jail.

7. Mass Psychology of Fascism is an interesting read

It's really too bad that he later destroyed his reputation with his "orgone energy" BS

5. Except there wasn't a raging pandemic in 1929. And we are not going to "appease" Trump or

his followers. We're going to vote Biden and a Senate majority into office, and Trump and his cronies will be facing jail time once the Justice Department is cleaned up and restored.

8. Four or five years ago I tried to warn a couple of well

educated loved ones who are potentially vulnerable, because I sensed what was coming, and it has.

I outlined basic issues and gave the prognosis with as light a touch as possible. But it wasn't taken seriously, and they don't want to know much of anything beyond what our leader is up to, one aspect of multiple threats and deep problems esp. the environment.

Learning how serious things are must burden plenty of people already stressed and trying to get by, day to day. But I gave it a shot, all you can do.
