This is pretty sick. These people can't be representative of the people in Palm Beach. They just
can't. Can they?

(24,395 posts)Although Palm Beach has a lot of Democrats, they also have a LOT of rich entitled repugs who think they are owed whatever it is they want and the rest of us better bow down to them. This is one of those asses.

(11,888 posts)Cuban American voters - mostly younger third and fourth generation native-born Americans by now - are predominantly registered Democrats. After more than fifty years, all that stuff about "the Cubans" is getting really, really old. If you want to blame the tilt to the right in Florida politics, look to all the old people from up north who retire here by the millions, and the deep south counties in north and central Florida.
It was just my personal experience, that's all.
Will edit accordingly. No one has the market cornered on conceit.
