Wonder who's fighting Trump? Meet the #Resistance

A good read about origins of the #TheResistance.
Soon after the election of Donald Trump, a loose alliance began coalescing around the goal of resisting Trump's vision for America.

From Richard Painter, Scott Dworkin, John Schindler, to Evan McMullin & others, joined forces for a unified purpose, each bringing their own methods & populace & how the many who joined in loosely under The Resistance hashtag have grown in their purpose & outreach.

We all do what we can

To name a few:
Grant Stern, A US Air Force veteran who started the #VetsResistSquadron hashtag, Holly Figueroa O’Reilly founder of Blue Wave Crowdsource, University of New Hampshire professor Seth Abramson, Olga Lautman an independent writer & more ...

1. Walter Shaub said the same thing

During his interview of Amy Siskind (during her book tour of The List) last month, Shaub mentioned what he'd been doing to contribute to the effort (if memory serves, he's been focusing on the Senate - either flipping the Senate, or on getting the Senate to take its investigative mandate seriously - can't quite remember). Anyway, he said the same thing: that, so far, there was a remarkable, even miraculous, absence of rivalry among the individuals and groups involved in the Resistance: that everyone is doing what they can do, and that everyone appreciates each other's efforts..

Please, please, let's keep it that way. All fingers and toes crossed that Democrats can refrain from their all-too-usual circular firing squad, and that they can encourage the efforts of independents and anti-Trump republicans to join their effort without demanding impossible purity tests on every issue. This is way, way, too important an issue to spoil with the usual squabbling over the small stuff. Focus on the big stuff, such as the Constitution, a free press, and equal justice for all: together, we can save the country. We HAVE to win this fight.

2. This really is not difficult when the goal is the same.

If these powerhouse names can put personal ideals & aspirations aside for the moment & be in this game of suvival, for nothing but the end game of unseating the Republican held Senate & House and above all taking Trump to the depths of his self inflicted misery, then step up & follow their lead.

Great leaders do not seek to cause division.

This is an inspiring article.
Grassroots may just be the sensible force that restores sanity in our gov't, heals & moves life forward again for all citizens.
