Aide says Trump is insane[link:https://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/67912| Posting here in case no one else has poste. Scary but i say let the idiot go full-on insane so Repugs will have no choice but to oust him. -------------------------------------------------------------- Those who know or watch President Donald Trump closely fear he is “coming apart” under the strain of his failed presidency and often aborted actions. “He’s grasping to achieve something, anything, to prove he’s up to the job,” says a longtime business associate of Trump. “He’s coming apart at the seams.” Joseph Nye, Harvard professor and author of “Is the American Century Over?” says that, under Trump, “the reputation of the United States has diminished.” Nye adds that being a “reality host” does not give him a “global perspective” that one needs as president. “This is not going to end well for this administration,” a former FBI official says. “Trump is out of control and what he does goes against core American values.” White House aides talk in whispers about Trump’s temper tantrums that have become routine. He unleashes strings of obscenities, threatens to fire everyone and too often issues more ominous threats that include violence. “He yells at people, saying he will ‘kick their ass’ or even kill them,” says one, who said she fears for her safety if her name is used. “I think our president is insane!” A media report that questions one of Trump’s actions can bring on a shouting attack against anyone nearby. Trump, she says, reduces staff members to tears and says some have quit because they can no longer stand being around him. Secret Service agents joke that they should use the label “Madman” to identify Trump in radio conversations. Others joke about jumping in front of the president to “take a bullet” to protect him. “I might be taking a bullet fired from a fellow agent.” Trump, they say, threatens to fire all of his secret service detail and replace them with “bodyguards I know and trust.” That causes the agents to shake their heads because Trump has, in the past, hired personal guards with violent criminal records. “The president has no sense of duty, not understanding of what it takes to be the leader of a nation,” says a former aide. “To him, the only things that matter are serving his ego and fattening his wallet.”

2. Capitol Hill Blue is having slowdowns (dont use https). Unsurprising given how inflammatory.
The article's casual mention by unattributed sources of potential fragging are NOT OK, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's been alerted on as a potential threat.
I don't know Capitol Hill Blue's background, but the content and intent of that post are murky and disturbing. |

39. howdy from Tx!
i do take time to browse but dont have much time to post. I know the source of this article is questionable but i don't think anyone can really argue what is presented isn't entirely believable. It's just another reaffirmation of what we've known all along - that we have a seriously delusional maniac holding the highest office of our country. Never thought i'd live to see the day but we are living in the strange times.
That said, i'm grateful for all the support from left leaning folks here. We need to lift each other up to survive this insanity. ![]() |

While I agree this man lacks even the basic capacity for the office he holds. Posts like this is exactly the kind of thing I disliked about the attacks on Obama.
The site linked is a Wordpress site....anyone can buy a domain and stand this up for around $9.00 a month. Wonder why I would question these "sources"...the administrators of the site dont even know to hide their login page to prevent being brute forced. It has been 7 months....we need real sources saying these things in the light of day. Until then this does us no good. |

11. I think our president is insane! Yeah, file that under "no shit Shirley" file.
Too bad he can't fire the Secret Service, they should be collecting as much shit as they can on him and handing over to Mueller. Mueller needs to hurry, this is not going to be okay. As much as I dislike Pence, he knows how gov't works and won't jump into a nuclear war with Kim Jung Cray-cray.

26. Agree, but why are they taking so long?
He is certainly hurting their chances in 2018 & 2020. The longer he stays in the worse it will be for them. They've gotten what they wanted most, the edge on the Supreme Court. Are they waiting for another SCJ to die, or resign?
He is not capable of delivering any legislation, or improving our standing w/allies--quite the opposite. I can only conclude that, in typical thug/black-mailing underworld style (which is where he plays), he has as much dirt on them, as they do on him. Therefore, he holds the literal "Trump" card. ![]() |

21. Nothing like running for POTUS as your first public, elective office!
I used to say the same about Nader. Ralph has always been a little strange in his private life, but I never felt he was insane, just eccentric. At least one third of eligible voters haven't been showing much common sense. Then there's Jill Stein. Over my seventy-two years, I've known a lot of M.D.s, both professionally and socially. The majority have been good people. The old "God complex" meme isn't fair to all, but It's the only thing that can explain Jill Stein. I agree with a lot of her positions, but what have her qualifications for POTUS ever been? She's always seemed smug to me. Anyone who voted for Trump was just not doing their research on the man. I've never "loved" Hillary and voted for Bernie in the primary. Hillary's performance during her grueling session with Congress over the ridiculous (REAL witch hunt) Benghazi/email stuff definitely made me confident of her COOL in tense situations. The minute Trump went into the childish "You're the puppet" rant during the debates, and his strange stalking behind her in the one debate made me lose faith in the sanity of anyone who'd vote for him. Excuse me, but he didn't seem sane THEN.

Oh, to again get another one of those Reich-wing emails about the Secret Service....
And more than just one, about how the Secret Service just loved Reagan and Bush the Smarter - and hated Clinton. How they loved Drinkey McStupid who was so considerate, but Obama was never kind to them.... The ones that end with, "That's how a real leader acts..." The ones that end with, "Please pass this on. It is important for everyday Americans to have a true inside understanding of their President." The ones that end with, "Send this to anyone you suspect might not know what a class act looks like."
