Cruz Calls President ‘Dangerous And Terrifying’

Source: CBS Houston/AP

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has told a conservative conference that President Barack Obama is lawless, providing the right wing rhetoric that makes him so popular in his home state.

The conservative Republican laid out his reasoning for why he thinks the president is “dangerous and terrifying.”

According to the Statesman, Cruz also slammed the POTUS for what he referred to as a pattern of “lawlessness on a breathtaking scale.”

“We are a nation of laws and not men,” Cruz was additionally quoted as saying by the website. “If we had a system where a president can pick and choose what laws to follow at utter whim … that is seriously dangerous.”

Cruz is a demagogue of the first order, and he is whipping up the yahoos into a state of frenzy. If you can stomach it, check the comments for confirmation.

This guy is going to get somebody hurt, and we know who that is. Which sounds more and more like his intent.

There will be the Rapture of those who are following Christ now and those who previously died as Christians , then a seven-year period of Tribulation during which the Antichrist reigns, then Christ returns and the battle of Armageddon occurs, then Christ reigns.

Catholics scarcely seem to know what to make of all this, except to say that Christ will return one day to reign, that that date being something not for us to know. Catholic scholar Scott Hahn, interestingly enough a former Presbyterian minister, speaks of the Book of Revelation as being the key to understanding the mysteries of the Mass as Heaven on Earth. His very readable book on the topic, "The Lamb's Supper," makes more sense than anything about Revelation and the "end times" I ever encountered in the old days.

"Dangerous" does not mean "kind of nice guy who speaks well and has a nice smile and a lovely family." And "Terrifying" does not mean "He tries to do the right thing, but there are forces at play that he cannot completely control, including a hostile congress."

Senator, if you want to discuss "lawlessness on a breathtaking scale," let's be sure to include the last guy, your home boy, you know, the last guy in the Oval.

It starts with Cruz's words and spills over into the comments by the site users. That kind of hate cannot be healthy for a body. On a funny note he seems to have a bit of a divide with the pot smoking Libertarian type. He may want to work on that some. He's going to need them if he doesn't want come in below Huckabee in the Republican primary.

Then again, Cruz would probably have voted for the Fugitive Slave Law, if he'd been in the Senate in the 1840's.

barack hussien obama was the son of a kenyan communist muslim father and a non-american communist mother. His associations were with communists and terrorists. He spent his childhood in a madrassa in muslim Malaysia. He should not have been cleared to be dog catcher.

Even today this infil-traitor would never pass an FBI background check. Never.

Anybody who voted for this is also non-American and should be thrown out of my country.
