Charges Filed Against Driver Who Confessed To Fatal OVI Crash

Source: NBC

COLUMBUS, Ohio -

A 22-year-old man has been officially charged in connection with a drunken driving wrong-way crash that killed a man.

Matthew Cordle, of Powell, was indicted for one count aggravated vehicular homicide and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Cordle is accused of driving the wrong way on Interstate 670 near 3rd Street on June 22, 2013 at about 2:45 a.m.

Cordle crashed head on into a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Vincent Canzani, who died after the crash.

The indictment alleges that Cordle had a blood alcohol level of .191 at the time of the crash.

Last week Cordle confessed in a video posted online that he was to blame for the wrong way crash that occurred after he had spent the night drinking.

Isn't it just about time to take the "war on drugs" off marijuana now? Alcohol is responsible for so many vehicular deaths in this country and around the world. I'm still waiting to hear about some character, stoned on marijuana, that drives like a complete ass-clown and causes someone's death or injury. Yet, the federal government threatens to stomp on the states' rights when it comes to legalization. i live in Washington. I can smoke when I wish. I don't smoke, but rarely; and when I do, I drive more careful than I do sober, if at all.

You have to reply to MY post? That's how it works for you? Try reading the article, posting your comment, and neglect what everyone in front of you posted. Might help your victim complex some.

The story is about some idiot who DWI'd themselves into killing someone. What this has to do with the war on marijuana I really don't get. But full points for the completely indignant non-defensive non-reply.

What other off-topic post were you expecting me to reply to? Who are these other mythical posters that I'm ignoring? And what is this victim complex of which you speak?

The mind reels.
