Who would have imagined on the eve of Independence Day in 2013 that Texas women would still be fighting for their constitutional right to make their own health decisions. This day should be about freedom, and you can't have freedom without choice.
Last night over 3,500 people came to the Texas Capitol and registered their opinion on HB 2, the 2nd special session version of the back-door abortion ban, but over 1,000 still left without having their voices heard....

4. They won't be satisfied

until the laws they make hurt someone they love or them. These Abortion bills have been nothing but a bunch of bullshit to control people of low income and of few means. I have seen this scenario before. Where a man has sex with a woman willing or un willing and giving birth for breeding purposes. And the husband or family of the woman could say or do nothing. but a woman of means well she can zip off to Mexico and whose the wiser. Maybe there should be some women talking to the husbands, fathers, sons, uncles, and male cousins about some real shit. Like what would they do if the woman in their life was sexually assaulted and she became pregnant and she will be forced to have the rapist baby. And in most states children born inside marriage is usually considered a product of that marriage. Which mean you could end up financially responsible for a child that is not theirs. Not to mention most fathers in most states have rights to their offspring and sexual assault does not dis-qualify them from parenting. Which also means that unless you can get the parental rights terminated through the legal system, you now have an unwanted presence in your life until the child reaches adulthood. And if the condom breaks, well Rock-a - bye Baby on the tree top. There won't be anymore too young, too old, abnormal gestation terminations, and birth control is lumped in with all these hideous new laws. So condoms will probably be the next line of attack. It is time we wake up everyone.
