Obama Pulls Away From Romney in National Poll

President Obama has opened up a clear lead against current GOP front-runner Mitt Romney in a new Washington Post-ABC News out Monday.

Among all Americans, Obama leads Romney by nearly double digits, 52 percent to 43. That's the first time that Obama has broken through the 50-percent ceiling in a match-up with Romney among all Americans since last summer, when he led 51 percent to 44. Among only registered voters, the president's lead shrinks slightly, but the survey shows he nonetheless is out in front by six points, 51 percent to 45.

Not from the article, but from the talking heads on MSNBC, talking about polls in general.

The poll says people trust romney more on budget and defecit and narrowly on Job creation but Obama wins on Taxes, fighting
Terrorism,and caring about average americans.

The Taxes and terrorism responses are terrable for republicans.

Since the M$M refuses to do its job, the Democrats and Obama need to stay on top of this lie that Romney created jobs. He DID NOT!! MA was 47th out of 50th on job creation! That's why Romney never stood for reelection. And when he was at Bain, he OUTSOURCED jobs!!!

UGH!!!!!!!!!!

That Is crazy.Again the MSM let Romney get away with claiming he Is job Creator. That Is something Obama will have to hit Romney
on.

The fact that Obama Is trusted more on Taxes and fighting terrorism Is terryfing for Republicans.

I heard an energy expert/trader on a local financial show this morning say that he sees prices for gas this summer way up by the $5.00 mark due to trends he's seeing now which are rather alarming. This was not in re: the presidential campaign but just in terms of the economy in general.

This could be a problem that the asshats will capitalize on even though I don't think Obama has much to do with the price of gas.

Predictions of gas prices are notoriously inaccurate. A lot depends on severity of the winter and how much oil needs to be funneled into heating oil production. So far this year that would suggest lower gas prices, not higher. And then of course international events which influences world oil prices plays a role. How fast the economy expands will also play a role because people drive more and create a higher demand - of course more people have jobs also so this may be a wash in terms of Obama's popularity. In any case high gas prices alone will not be a threat to Obama's reelection.

(1) I do not want Democrats to become complacent. We have much work to be done.
(2) When faced with a possible defeat, that's when Republicans panic. And when they panic, they go into ULTA HATE MODE.

This is going to be the dirtiest, mean-spiritied, bigoted campaign in the history of politics.

I hope ya'll got your seat belts on because its going to be quite nasty.

Our job is to stay focused and continue to work to get Obama the Congress that he needs in order to be able to govern effectively.
