13,000 Federal Employees Receive Abusive Email in Comms System Exploit: 'Tired of Working for a Complete C*nt?

Source: MEDIAite

Jan 30th, 2025, 10:28 pm

A whopping 13,000 federal employees reportedly received an abusive email on Thursday after a new broadcast system was quickly exploited. In an email with the subject header, “Resign,” all 13,000 federal employees of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reportedly received the abusive message, which read, “Aren’t you tired of working for a complete cunt?”

“I’m sorry this happened to us,” responded NOAA Deputy Director of Communications Scott Smullen in a memo to staff. “I will report it.” The incident demonstrated just how easy it is to exploit a new broadcast system set up by the Trump administration this month. “Goes to show you how fast this [new comms system] was cobbled together – no security or screening on this address,” a NOAA employee told journalist Ken Klippenstein, who broke the news.

All 13,000 federal employees of the NOAA just received the derogatory email below.

— Ken Klippenstein (@kenklippenstein) January 31, 2025

Klippenstein himself also managed to exploit the system, sending a link to his newsletter to all 13,000 employees of the government agency. “I just sent this email to all 13,000 federal employees of the NOAA lol,” he announced. “The Trump administration’s changes to their communications system made it so literally anyone can blast messages out to the entire agency.”

As expected, someone ALREADY hacked into Muskrat's "all employees" email system.

It seems like the federal workers are fighting back. Musk/Trump have created a federal workers' movement opposing Musk/Trump.

Democrats need to get out and support them, have their backs.

I'm over hear with a broken heart having to shun the MAGA side of my family, perhaps for the rest of my life, after arguing with them and calling them out for the last 10 years. And Dem leadership cant muster the gumption to oppose every move of this racist rapist and his destroyer cabinet.

Fucking hurt Lindsey Graham's feelings already. Drag Mitch McConnell every time he decides to show his fucking face. Refer to trump as the rapist in the oval office. And vote no. Stop the confirmations.

Get in the fucking street in front of your constituents and give them a reason for voting for you again.

And more seem to be coming out of the woodwork. I guess the people who were liberal and kept their mouths shut are no longer doing so. That said, I'm in the process of renewing both of my passports, and we are planning to move within a year or so. Just waiting for my husband to wind down and sell his business. Please send me an email to let me know the particulars of your move and how it is going. I guess you heard about the president of our HOA resigning by propping up a nude blow up doll in her golf cart and driving around the community with the doll next to her and her music blaring and flipping everybody off as she passed their homes. The maggots have taken over and they are running things like power hungry Neanderthals. All they apparently did was "repurpose" the crap email that Muskrat had sent out to Twitter employees after he bought it and then eventually proceeded to lay off most of the staff.

The current BA funds for FTEs are most likely already obligated so this type of thing is idiotic. If they want to do RIFs, that needs to be in the final FY2025 budget/appropriations which they STILL haven't done yet because they preferred to spend time stalking the Biden family.

The email to fired employees:

Hello,

As shared earlier today, Twitter is conducting a workforce reduction to help improve the health of the company.

These decisions are never easy and it is with regret that we write to inform you that your role at Twitter has been impacted.

Today is your last working day at the company, however, you will remain employed by Twitter and will receive compensation and benefits through your separation date of February 2, 2023.

During this time, you will be on a Non-Working Notice period and your access to Twitter systems will be deactivated. While you are not expected to work during the Non-Working Notice period, you are still required to comply with all company policies, including the Employee Playbook and Code of Conduct.

Within a week, you will receive details of your severance offer, financial resources extending beyond your Non-Working Notice period.

At that time you will also receive a Separation Agreement and Release of Claims and other offboarding…

Elon Musk says he’s cut about 80% of Twitter’s staff

By Michelle Toh and Juliana Liu, CNN
Updated 10:22 AM EDT, Wed April 12, 2023

Hong Kong CNN — Elon Musk has laid off more than 6,000 people at Twitter since taking over the company, he told the BBC in a rare interview late Tuesday. Musk was quoted as saying in the interview that the social media platform now has only 1,500 employees, down from under 8,000 who were employed at the time of his acquisition. The reduction equates to roughly 80% of the company’s staff.

It’s “not fun at all” and can sometimes be “painful,” the billionaire CEO told the British broadcaster at Twitter’s head office in San Francisco.

The world’s second richest man said that “drastic action” was needed when he came on board, because the company was facing “a $3 billion negative cash flow situation.” That left Twitter (TWTR) with only “four months to live,” he estimated. “This is not a caring [or] uncaring situation. It’s like, if the whole ship sinks, then nobody’s got a job,” Musk said.

Musk purchased Twitter for $44 billion last October.

Don’t have any real power to resist, beyond asking for a legal opinion. Otherwise we’re on a slippery slope to anarchy.

I told my team that if obviously can’t tell them to take or not take the deferred resignation deal, but to do some research into it and make sure they’re comfortable with a decision that they probably can’t undo.

Also, I’m on leave today so I’m free to post whatever I want!

are the civilian Schedule Bs and Cs and SESs, many who I call "the GS-1000s". But everyone else is already accounted for in the budget/appropriations and can't be summarily RIF'd without authority.

I think this mess that just happened with the ATC in D.C., where a single person was doing the job of two, underscores why the FTE levels are set the way they are (and is often still not enough).

Project 2025 contains a goal to eliminate NOAA and privatize all weather prediction and meteorology science. Conservatives have been agitating for this since GW Bush.

Dems have known this for years. When they controlled the WH and both chambers under Obama, they should have passed some kind of poison pill legislation that would have prevented this from happening.

Anything that gets "passed" can be "un-passed" (repealed) at any time when a sufficient majority of those voting in Congress desires.

It seems that even things in the Constitution are ignored (or twisted) - including by the SCOTUS.
