Rick Santorum To Join World Net Daily As ‘Exclusive Columnist’

TOM KLUDT 9:49 AM EST, MONDAY DECEMBER 3, 2012
The conservative news website World Net Daily announced Sunday that former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will be joining its slate of commentators as an "exclusive columnist." Santorum's column will appear on WND every Monday.
From the announcement:
Rick and his wife of 22 years, Karen, are the parents of seven children: Elizabeth, John, Daniel, Sarah Maria, Peter, Patrick and Isabella. During his run for president, Santorum spoke about his belief that strong families help produce a strong economy. He shared his views that opportunities for all Americans must be expanded by encouraging incentives for marriage, children and free enterprise.
Santorum strongly believes in renewing Americas manufacturing sector, believing that such a renewal will strengthen working families and help struggling communities return to a path of prosperity during these tough economic times.

(6,785 posts)The only time you'll ever hear of anything Santorum says from here on out is going to be your liberal friends making fun of him.
I swear half of World Nut Daily's readership is liberals looking for a quick laugh.

(65,985 posts)Caesar Augustus tried that 2,000 years ago, and it was a miserable failure.
Subsequent emperors periodically went the other way, and tried to prohibit marriage for military-age males, to encourage them to join the legions. That didn't go over too well, either.
I always thought these 'pro-family' conservatives were opposed to government interference in the lives of citizens...

"Santorum strongly believes in renewing Americas manufacturing sector, believing that such a renewal will strengthen working families and help struggling communities return to a path of prosperity during these tough economic times."
That's rich. Maybe he should have thought about the manufacturing sector before he voted for all those "free trade" agreements. That would be corporations are "free" to "trade" high paying jobs in the US for low paying jobs in third world countries and China where they lock the workers in even during fires.
