Israeli Army’s Social Media Director Poses as Obama in Blackface
Source: http://www.yourblackworld.net
![]() Read more: http://www.yourblackworld.net/2012/11/black-news/israeli-armys-social-media-director-poses-as-obama-in-blackface/ The head of the IDF’s social media unit, lieutenant Sacha Dratwa, enjoys more than Twitter and Facebook. Apparently, he’s also into some good ‘ol fashioned Jim Crow styled blackface as well.

1. I hope our President cuts off Israel's allowance
until this moron is dealt with .
And I bet he will be dealt with quickly, since Israel seems so dependent on the money we send over there to buy all those rockets it needs to fire to defend itself. |

for this jerk makes no sense. Yes he should be fired.
and a lot of the people in certain government offices in the U.S. should also be fired |

9. Israel has a large African population that is the target of massive prejudice
http://www.timesofisrael.com/most-israeli-jews-agree-africans-are-a-cancer/
Fifty-two percent of Jewish Israelis identify with the statement by MK Miri Regev last month that African migrants are “a cancer in the body” of the nation, and over a third condone anti-migrant violence, according to the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) Peace Index for May 2012. Broken down by political and religious affiliation, the monthly index’s findings reveal that among Jews there is a direct correlation between right-wing political affiliation and a racist attitude toward migrants. Thus, 86 percent of Shas voters and 66 percent of Likud voters polled expressed identification with Regev’s controversial statement, as opposed to 32 percent of Labor voters and four percent of Meretz voters. The degree of religiosity attested to by respondents also accounted for a large disparity in the findings, with 81.5% and 66% of self-described ultra-Orthodox and Orthodox, respectively, agreeing with Regev’s statement, as opposed to 38% of secular Israelis. Only 19% of Arab respondents agreed that the migrants were “a cancer.” |

24. No they built detention camps for them really should keep up with that stuff
Huge detention centre to be Israel's latest weapon in migration battle
A vast detention complex is rising from the sandy grounds of Ktzi'ot prison in the Negev desert, close to Israel's border with Egypt, which will become the world's largest holding facility for asylum seekers and migrants. When it is completed, at an initial cost of £58m to the Israeli government, it will be capable of holding up to 11,000 people. Despite unprecedented protests at rising costs of living, and increased threats to national security in a volatile, post-Arab spring Middle East, immigration is of such paramount importance to Binyamin Netanyahu's coalition that it has skimmed a minimum of 2% from every ministry's budget to fund the construction and start-up costs of the building. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/apr/17/detention-centre-israel-migration |

21. yes Israel has a large African population that are not all too well treated
like the African refugees that Israel is building detention camps for in the Negev? Like the refugees from Sudan that were forced back into Egypt despite pleading not to and after being held at the border fence for days with Israel's standing orders to IDF not to give them or allow anyone else to give them food and water those Africans?
Seeking Asylum in Israel The number of African asylum seekers in Israel has grown substantially in recent years, now standing at roughly 60,000, mostly from Eritrea and Sudan. Israel has agreed to refrain from deporting nationals from those countries due to the risk they would face, but is pursuing a string of restrictive measures to stem the tide of arrivals. This past May, a nighttime mob attack took place against African migrants and their properties in south Tel Aviv, fueled by the state’s anti-immigrant rhetoric. +972 has tracked the unfolding developments and challenges faced by a status-less community under increasing pressure. http://972mag.com/special/aslyum-seekers-2/ or are you speaking of Ethiopian Jews who were rescued and brought to Israel only to have Israels Rabbinical authorities declare to not be Jews however Israel's secular government said they were Jews the Religious declaration only causes problems if they should decide to marry outside of their ethnic community |

41. He will not write them off because he has not defended himself from the idiots here but the more
the people of the USA see this kind of nonsense the more they will agree with your assessment and sooner or later they will lose funding. He should be ashamed of himself - when I was small in the early 40s this was what was being done to the Jews - that and worse.

27. I thought Netanyahu and his far right wing fiends do not believe Obama
supports him and by extension, Israel, which is why they poured money into Romney's campaign? Didn't Netanyahu have to try to back away from some of his comments about the candidates in this election? Something about making sure Israel had a friend in the WH? Meaning Romney of course?

18. I'm pretty sure that is the Dead Sea in the background,
where people (even men) commonly smear Dead Sea 'mud' on their faces. The minerals in the 'mud' are believed to be good for the skin. In fact, there is a brand by the name of 'Ahava' that sells Dead Sea Skin Care products in department stores and online. Not only in Israel, but here also. Probably in other countries too.
http://www.ahavaus.com/body/deadsea-salt?gclid=CPqpxerV6LMCFYuZ4AodylwAWQ That said, even if it was just an impromptu pic snapped while the guy was hanging out there at the Dead Sea, it in no way excuses the offensive FB caption. I hope (at the very least) he loses his job over this stunt. |

32. Apparently no one knew much about him until there was an article in Gawker
which seems to have been intended as a PR piece, what a great guy he was etc. etc. That attracted attention to him. That's what happens when you are thrust into the lime-light, people start looking at your social media accounts. He should have stayed out of the lime light or had the intelligence to remove anything controversial like this from his FB page. But I guess he didn't think there was anything wrong it.

There have been attempts to make use of private photos from my Facebook profile in order to publicly misrepresent my opinions. Due to the amount of public attention I've garnered in recent days I have decided to restrict access to my page, in order to protect my privacy and prevent further cynical use of the information therein.
I am, and have always been, completely candid about my beliefs and have nothing to hide – as reflected by my Facebook profile, which until recently was open to everyone.
