According to reports, she has done all of those things and not been charged with anything. What I've heard/read is that there is an empty lot that the owner had allowed the neighborhood children to play on. This women did not like that so verbally and physically assaulted the children who were playing there. Owens son left a tablet (or iPad) on the lot after she had thrown the skates at the children, hitting one - wouldn't that be battery on a minor? When Owen went to the woman's house to get his tablet back, she was shot and killed in front of her child.

A person can put their house up as collateral. Most homes are worth at least $250,000.

She'd have to come up with $15,400.

so apparently she's renting there (in one story, her home is described as an apartment). I also heard she is unemployed. Her attorney is a public defender. One article said she has no job, no property, and no children so I'm not sure how she's going to swing the bail. She's been granted bond but I can't find a story that says she's paid it.

She might be better off staying in jail.

I pointed out that cash is not the only way a person can make bail. Which is true. Whether it applies to her, I don't know, huh.

so 15K in this case. Bail bonding companies can loan you the money or you can pay with your savings, somebody else can help, etc..
