Judge quashes Trump bid to hide money he paid to former staffer in nondisclosure agreement settlemen
Source: Raw Story
Former President Donald Trump's effort to keep details of a settlement related to a past nondisclosure agreement lawsuit were dealt a setback on Monday. Bloomberg News reports that US District Judge Paul Gardephe has ruled that Trump must disclose the amount of money he's paying to former staffer Jessica Denson, who had filed a legal challenge to Trump's mandate that all campaign staffers sign NDAs as a precondition to working for him. "Under the settlement, the campaign agreed it would not enforce the nondisclosure and nondisparagement agreements going forward, and there was a financial component as well," according to Bloomberg's report. "Denson was set to receive an incentive fee for pursuing the case for years, and the campaign also would pay her lawyers’ fees. Those amounts were redacted in documents filed in court a few weeks ago." Attorneys representing Trump argued earlier this month that disclosing the terms of the settlement “would have a deleterious effect on, among other things, the Campaign’s future ability to negotiate similar agreements." 9. You're not alone
Most people I know have been on edge since Trump became president. At least now things aren't nearly as stressful, though Trump and his idiot followers are still among us and many of them are heavily armed and full of hate.

11. Yup...
I'm surrounded by them.
His admin ended my working career before I was ready and I have been through so much, including living in my car for almost a year in Montana, that my experiential pain can be described as something similar to being pulled through a knothole in a wooden fence. The kind of life transitions that land you permanently in therapy. |

12. I am so sorry
Sounds like a special ring of hell in Dante's Inferno. It is bad enough going through all that, but to be surrounded by mindless haters as well is unthinkable. I hope things have gotten better for you.

13. Things are...
Okay for now. I never anticipate anything like security or actual permanent housing, I question whether that's even a thing anymore for people who haven't had their housing for a long time already. I just hope that the next time I have to move, and I will, it will be to some place where I die before I have to move again.

14. I know exactly how you feel
I am only secure now because I live in an in-law apartment in my son's home. Both my daughter and I never fully recovered from the housing crisis in 2008 and I hate that she has had to bounce around for so many years, sometimes living out of her car in the beginning. She still doesn't have a place of her own and the prospect of having to move is always hanging over her head. It has been very stressful and has really taken a toll.
Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure this is where I will die. I just hope she finds a place to call home before that happens. |

10. I wish courts would rule all NDA's illegal
as most of them hide bribes paid to cover up illegal activities.
