Two hundred refugee children missing from gov't-run UK hotels
Source: al-Jazeera
A British minister has said that 200 asylum-seeking children have gone missing after being placed in hotels run by the Home Office. The admission follows an investigation by The Observer on Saturday in which a whistle-blower from a Home Office hotel said that children were being abducted off the street and forced into cars. Another coup for the Tory Party!

1. I wonder if that is what was happening with the kids taken from their parents by homeland security.
A lot details and records never seemed to surface and bring families back together.

4. I would wager...
That trafficking has been going on with the separated refugees here.

2. The Tories
must think of this as doing their bit for social care.

3. Three quarters of them were Albanian?
Seventy six of them are "under investigation" while 60 have been found? This sounds weird.

6. There were a spate of similar stories here a year or so back about "200 missing children
found by law enforcement!!!"
It turned out the vast majority had perfectly reasonable explanations and were missing only on paper and the "finding" agency simply updated its paperwork. I wonder if this is similar given the strange numbers quoted. |
