Police chief says no other arrests expected in Idaho killings: 'We believe we have our guy'
Source: The Hill
Moscow, Idaho, Police Chief James Fry on Monday said he is not expecting any more arrests in connection with the deadly November stabbings of four University of Idaho students after one suspect was taken into custody last week. “We believe we have our guy, the one that committed these murders,” Fry told ABC News on Saturday. Police arrested Bryan Kohberger in Pennsylvania on Friday and charged him with four counts of first-degree murder as well as felony burglary. Authorities said they tied him to the killings of the students, who were found dead in a rental home in the city of Moscow near campus on Nov. 13, through DNA evidence and his ownership of a Hyundai Elantra, which allegedly was seen near the crime scene on the night of their deaths. 3. They "have DNA evidence", proving that
he was present in the house at some point, and left his 'DNA footprint'...
It's a college town, it's a college house, and god knows how many students have wandered through that house--- I hope there is more evidence that we have not yet heard of, and I hope that the law has found the right guy-- but it seems to me that a DNA footprint in the house does NOT make the case-- (although the type of DNA evidence might have some bearing) hundreds of students, and others, probably passed through that house over the past semester.... and many of them probably left their own DNA footprints, but not near the time of the murders... I HOPE that the Idaho law enforcement officers are RIGHT-- but I am somewhat skeptical, until i hear MORE... The suspect himself has waived extradition from Pennsylvania, and is anxious to "exonerate himself"-- which does not suggest a consciousness of 'guilt' for these crimes... |

6. He is a creepy incel who went to a local brewhouse alone, went off at women who turned him down.
He was 8 years older than these 20 & 21-year-old murdered coeds. I can totally see him flying into a rage after they turned him down in a bar and following them home and killing them. What was his DNA doing at the scene of the crime? Seems he and his parents would have explained that by now. All they've offered is an awkward statement that they "support his presumption of innocence." He doesn't seem that anxious to exonerate himself.

7. Psychopaths are incapable of consciousness of guilt
They always think they can beat criminal charges against them. It's how they're wired.

10. My boys are in their middle twenties and I can still tell whenever something is going on.
If they are dating and are having problems I know it. I raised those boys and I know them in and out.
Those parents knew. Why would they drive across the country? IMO they are just covering their guilt of aiding and abetting. This is just how I see it. |

8. It seems unlikely that the cops would just randomly swab
Around the house and send whatever they found out for analysis.
It seems much more likely that they looked for DNA in very specific places. Damning places. Killing 4 people with a knife is messy and it’s easy to get cut or scratched in the process. This guy is done and will likely never be released. And that’s a good thing. |
