Former Mark Meadows White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson is the surprise witness: report
Source: raw story

Burris June 27, 2022 After a day of speculation, it was revealed that former White House aide to Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson, will be the surprise testimony on Tuesday. According to Punchbowl News managing editor Heather Caygle, Hutchinson will walk through some of the things she's also said in the two meetings with the committee totaling 20 hours of conversations under oath. Three people familiar with the investigation told the Washington Post that the reason for the secrecy "is in part due to credible security threats to a witness." Among the thing she revealed are conversations between Donald Trump and White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, who conveyed to the president that his Jan. 6 plot doing was illegal. "Hutchinson has provided extensive information about Meadows’s activities in trying to overturn the election," The Washington Postreported. "The Washington Post reported late last month that Hutchinson had told the committee that Meadows remarked to others that Trump indicated support for hanging his vice president after rioters who stormed the Capitol on that day started chanting, 'Hang Mike Pence!'" Last month, Politico revealed Hutchinson told the committee that Meadows incinerated documents after a meeting with Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA). It was previously revealed that Trump attempted to flush documents down the toilet, clogging the pipes in the centuries-old building. ............................ 1. 'She fired her Trumpster lawyer on Friday and got one of her own.'
@hollysbirds · 3h Andrew Weissman said it’s probably because of potential for witness tampering and intimidation from Trump World. She fired her Trumpster lawyer on Friday and got one of her own. Link to tweet |

11. Thats it There's NO "they're biased" argument when things are in writing or recorded.
And they have SO much of that to show the hypocrisy of so many involved. yelling at trump while j6 is going on but now saying nothing happened.

4. Just heard this on CBS radio report this morning
also mentioned that the Committee was "in touch with Ginni Thomas".
I remember some of the clips that were shown of her videotaped testimony that described the ones who were seeking pardons. |

6. Fantastic news,
keep strong and keep her protected.
Mark Meadows was the keystone for Trump. Meadows kept Trump's hands clean. Meadows relayed information to Trump and from Trump. I was hoping it wasn't the documentary people. This will put a lot of heat on Meadows, and the DOJ. She would have info on the burner phones and encryption I would imagine. This hearing will be done once again to get Merrick Garland's attention. Meanwhile AG Fani Willis keeps getting more and more evidence for her special grand jury. |

7. We're still uncovering 2021 sedition as the Court rolls over privacy rights
We must not accept this judicial coup. We must maintain vigilance and take constructive political action until the deeds can be undone and the perps put in jail.

12. It sure feels like Trump
has had so many "Nixon moments" already, which is very frustrating. It is like watching the monster in a movie who just won't die. Perhaps it is because Trump isn't Nixon who knew when the jig was up. Apparently Trump is more delusional than Nixon and certainly a whole lot dumber. A smarter man would cut his losses and move on, but we know that's not his style.
Meanwhile, I keep waiting for that "Nixon moment", the one that sticks. |

9. Might be getting the "John Dean" moment
She was already scheduled to testify, but obviously that's been moved up. I can imagine the kind of threats she's getting from the cultists and other rwnjs. She's brave that's for sure.
I wonder if the footage from the documentary will help corroborate what she says? When Dean testified, it was all from his memory, but his word against everyone else's. When the WH tapes came out, they validated all his testimony. |

10. This hearing is meant to show an institutionalist,
that saving our democracy is more important than saving the President's - Chief of Staff's, confidential privilege. This is why this hearing is so important.

they are being held to influence Merrick Garland.

13. Maybe the Feds are going to Visit MM soon
I'm not sure why that would matter but I read that theory somewhere. The got Eastman coming out of a restaurant so I would imagine they have active tracking of some of these peoples comms.
